I found a big package of Sharpies at Office Depot and they have new pastel colors!!! about 5 or 6. I really really want these, but I have not been able to find them packaged separately and I already have Sharpies in all the other colors!
WHOA!
I went to order the 7 pastel colors at only .92 ea. but the shipping was going to be $10.95! Guess I'll wait until I find them in the stores.
:(
NY Nan
I think I say individual sharpies being sold at Joanns and they had lots of different colors. I think they were in the painting section. Do not recall price but it is one more place to look.
i found some at walmart they werent what i would call pastel but i bet if you ask they might start to carry it they did that with some nutella i wanted and couldnt find esp with it being with the scrapbooking and cardmaking stuff they just enlarged our area on that stuff of course we are a small town to i tried to post earlier and i think i hit preview instead of submit! thanks oh yeah i got like 23 or so sharpies for 10.97 there!
sorry that was a typo !!!!!!!!!!! more like 13 sharpies everyone is probably wondering where my walmart is??? i should watch my screen not my fingers when i type!! sorry
Just to add this... www.artsuppliesonline.com has 25 colors (81 cents each) of them but shipping is a little high, depending on how much you order. Up to $24.99 is $10.95 shipping, $25-$49.99 is $6.95, $50-$74.99 is $9.95
Otherwise I hate to say it but EBAY has a lot of listings. This is something that SU doesn't sell so I feel I can say this without everyone getting in uproar. There were good auctions for big packs of them with relatively low shipping compared to the companies out there. Just put in sharpie markers and see what comes up!!
i dont do the tiles either, i live in the middle of no where, and cant figure out where to get them HERE in town. But i picked up the silver one for myself and hubby. I thought it would be cool like the zig writer, and hubby would just love it to write on his cds lol (and he was overly impressed LOL too funny)
A couple weeks ago at Staples I got a 17 pack of fine line sharpies for $8.99! I have been eyeing them for awhile so when they had them on sale I jumped on them. I just need to get the silver, gold, and copper ones.
I bought this three-pack of the above Sharpie color combo at Michaels a little less than a year ago.
The silver worked just great, but the copper & gold were basically dry!
I sent a letter, the packaging with the copper & gold pens and my Michaels receipt. I asked them to replace the copper & gold with product that functioned like the silver.
I received a letter from the manufacturer stating they were having problems with the gold & copper formula. They instructed me to make sure the silver was stored with the tip pointing down.
They also sent about a dozen different sharpies in all different colors. Companies like this really put the service back in customer service.
If anyone has found the gold & copper Sharpies that work, as perhaps the bugs have been worked out of the formula, I would love to know.
