Default Stamping on canvas

I want to decorate a canvas bag for my DH/son's cub scout den for snack. I did a search for them in the gallery and the few that I saw used craft ink or stazon with sharpies.

My question, instead of sharpies, can I use prismacolor markers? That should work right?

My initial guess would be yes, but, I'd definitely test it first on scrap fabrics similar to your project, just in case.

You also might try sealing it with something (Krylon spray sealant maybe) after you've applied the marker.
