Any stamping Pen Pals? (Closed)
I'm not sure where I should be posting this, so sorry if its in the wrong forum.
I was wondering if there is any kind of card swaping Pen Pals out there, I love making cards and send alot to family and friends, but don't ever recieve any back. I would love to find someone that would just like to send and recieve cards. Anybe a card a month. I have thought of joining swaps, but for most of them you have to make so many card at a certain time. I have a friend that is also interested in finding something like this.

Why don't you join the RAK group. Not sure exactly what you have to do to join but it might be what you're looking for.

Awesome idea. I used to do this when I first started stamping (and shudder to think about the kinds of card I sent back then!!). I kind of got out of stamping for a few years so lost contact with my stamping pen pals - if you want more than one, let me know.

I buy the magazine scrap and stamp arts, it has a place with pen pals, where we swap cards and introduce ourselves. I have had a few send me cards they made and then I reply to them by telling them about myself and make a card for them.

This sounds like fun, maybe since there is some interest we should pair up or something, or depending on how many we could rotate each month, that way we could get several people's stampin idea's and techniques. I'd love to be a penpal, too! I am a member of the RAK group but that is just where you send RAKs to different people and receive RAKs from others, too. I would love to get to know someone and correspond(sp) with them regularly. Maybe we should set up a Penpal thread in the support group section.

I love penpalling!
Would be fun to combine this with stamping and exchanging cards.
I have some penpals that became real good friends over the years.........none of them stamps though.
Wouldn't it be a great idea to set up a forum/group/?? for this ?

WOW.....
I am so excited. I didn't think I would ever get this many Pen Pals, I love it.
I am really new to this so not sure how to do it, but I'm getting eveyones address and will start sending cards out next week. For the ones that want to have more Pen Pals, I'll make a list of address and send you all the address in an e-mail. Any other ideas are welcome.
Thank you all for replying, I really do appreciat it. I think this is going to be so great. I love getting to meet new friends and sending and recieveing them.

Good morning all you fine ladies,
I thought I would let you all know for sure what I plain to do, since I have received some e-mails from you asking how this is going to work. I seen what Robyn posted about a support group and I have nothing at all against that, but it's not really what I had in mind. I just wanted to get to know new friends and share cards with everyone. I thought 1 card a month would be fine and then see how that went, then if we decide to send more great. Just didn't want there to be any rules or time limits. I am making a address list of the ones that want to send to more then I person and will e-mail to anybody that wants it. I think it would be nice to add birthdays too. I also thought we could write a little something in side about ourselves so we could get to know each other, other then that we can do what we want. I think this will be so much fun and i'm so excited to meet and have new friends.
Everyone have a great day, and will be sending out my cards this week.

I stamped today off and on to make cards for my pen pals that sent me their addresses. I will be sending them out in tomarrows mail.
