Color Photo Tiles?

I am making some photo tiles for Christmas gifts this year and I was wondering why I haven't seen any with color photos. The black and white photos look really good but is there a practical reason for it? If you print them in color will the color bleed when you mod podge it?

I did color a while back and they came out nice. I always let my pics sit overnight before I start working with them just to make sure they are dry and won't bleed.

I hafve a friend who does color tiles while I do black and white. It's just a matter of preference I guess.
