Default tshirt stamping w/craft ink

I just stamped my daughter's name on a tshirt and heat setted it with my heat gun. Will this last thru the wash now ?????

Years ago when I used Fabrico ink, the ink faded after the first wash. Hoping the craft ink will last longer.

thanks,
simmy :-)

When I stamp on fabric, I let it air dry a LONG time then heat set with an iron. It fades a bit, more on blends than 100% cotton, but still looks good.

Long as you heated the fabric til it felt slightly warm, it should be fine. But...do not launder for one week (takes that long for the ink to cure) and do not use detergents that are either citrus based or intended to remove heavy stains. Best to turn the shirt inside out when laundering.
