Default Paper Piercer

Please help.....I would love to have the paper piercer everyone is talking about using with the scallop punch. Is it in the SU catalog---if so where??? I can't find it.

Thanks in advance

The piece you are mentioning is in the Crafter's Tool Kit. You can use alternative items such as a one of the thumb tacks that have the plastic topper on it so you can hold it. I ordered on from www.apeekintoyesterday.com that has a wooden handle and it was like $3.00. I got it a few years ago, but I'm sure they still have them.
If you do go to their site.. be sure to check out the red sticky tape.. they have really good prices on it, plus a bunch of other items. Great service too.

I bought the mat pack from Stampin' UP! that is $9.95 and the paper piercer on that site.

hope that helps. Pam

You can also get paper piercers or sometimes called needle tool at JoAnn's and Mike's. Also a LSS would have them too probably. They are not expensive at all. You will need something like a mouse pad to put underneath the item you are piercing. The matstack is great for piercing projects.

I just use a "push pin" (thumb tack with a plastic top on it) and it works just fine and dandy!!!

I use a push pin as well. Cheap and works great with a mouse pad or a stamping pad.

Just bought this at my LSS this last weekend for about $3.50 for my girlfriend's Christmas gift. It'll go with her SU Mat Pack I ordered.

You have to buy the tool kit to get the SU one and it is nothing special. Heidi Swapp makes a cute small one that has a cap so you don't stab yourself. It is about $3

When SU! came out with their Crafter's Kit, I already had a paper piercer that I got at Michael's. I did get the mat pack from SU! though, for the foam thing and template. You can find the foam mat at Michael's and other hobby places.

I'd like to put a vote in for the Crafter's Tool Kit- it has so many awesome tools- I use every single one of them and they are so handy to have all in one kit... worth the $$! And it looks great and of course says SU.

I bought a tool kit at Michaels -- using a coupon, of course. I use the paper piercer the most, and used to use the eyelet setter before I discovered the Crop-a-Dile. If I had it to do over again, I would just try to find the paper piercer by itself.
