Wood you like a challenge? Nope...not a typo...today's ways to use it challenge is to find ways to use wood! Don't despair...you can do it! It really isn't as hard as you think! Use a wood frame, a wood box, a wood ornament, wood letters, wood die cuts from the Craft Store...whatever you wish...even a pencil on a card if you are determined to make a card design! As long as it has wood...you're good to go for this challenge. NOW.....just to clarify...I know paper is technically a wood product but NO...it is the only thing that doesn't count. You need wood in its semi-original format! LOL MDF Pressboard is Ok too. So....get designing! This one is going to be fun! Can't wait to see what you all come up with!
As always...please remember to put WT136 in your keywords section and post a link back here so that we can all see your work. If you wish to share ONE previously made creation...that is fine as long as you make sure you play along and do another challenge in the next few days. After all, a challenge is to get you designing, right?
Well, I am at home with a horrible cold. I think I can muster up enough energy to look through my stack of unfinished 3-Ds to participate today. No kids - No work - just me and my PJs, stamps and a box of Kleenex.
Oh boy, I'll need to think about this one while I'm at work today.

OK OK>...I'll break down a little! I was asked if you can use paper that looks like wood sooooo if you REALLY need to create faux wood, use a wood-look stamp or have paper that looks exactly like wood...go ahead. But I did have actual wood in mind for this challenge.
Great motivation to get some frames done for an upcoming craft fair. Now just to make it through the day at work until I can get home and retreat to my stamp room!!! That is the real "challenge" for me!
Hmmm...will need to see what I can find in my basement!! You think since my mom's a tole painter that I would have SOMETHING!! Might be back later!! Cool challenge! Just goes to show that we are NOT limited by paper alone!;)

Ooh! This is going to be a tough one for me...not a lot of wood scraps and things laying around. I'm expecting a box of new SU stuff in the mail today- YIPPEE!- so I think I'll wait until later to play. Gives me time to come up with something wood! Thanks for a great challenge Julia!

Welcome for Rob by twget at Splitcoaststampers
I made a welcome frame for my brother. I actually started it last night (thanks Julia for picking project I already started!) but I did finish it today... that is unless you all have some rocking suggestions for me. I want to do more to it but don't want to make it girly either.
Per the rules, I uploaded a card I made a couple of months ago, but will do another one today or tomorrow. Anyway, here's an idea for using twigs on cards: Who's 81? by stampwithdiane at Splitcoaststampers
Great challenge, Julia!! This was my first stamped frame but have used the woodsie shapes for flower petals and sentiments on a few cards in my gallery.
