Sentiments for inside the cards...let's start a list
This thread started in general stamping but we have moved to this thread so that we have access to the edit function, therefore being able to update the excel file on the first post.
I am going to start collecting sentiments in an excel file. So if you would like to contribute I will get a list going. I have attached what we have so far. Thank you all who have contributed. I will make changes and updates as we go. Any comments, suggestions or if you just want to list sentiments, please do, I will add and update as often as I can. Thanks everyone!!!
If you are unable to open the excel links, Lynn in St. Louis has the most currect spreadsheets in Google. She updates as soon as I do. Here is the link to her lists.

 "Why would you want something so common as money when you can have something so rare as ________". I came up with this one myself, I can't seem to fill in the blank. Would "love" work? I don't want to say "love is rare" or should I say "so precious as family or love"
Any comments??? Thanks

I am very sorry to hear about your mom, I went and read the first one and what a great sentiment for inside the card. It was meant to be.

Sentiments for the Inside of Cards
Hi Delia
I have quite a few sentiments to send to you that I have collected over time, I hope they are not all repeats. So as I get time I will try to add some more. Thanks for doing this.
A Sweet Little Baby has come from above, bringing joy to your home, filling hearts with Love
A new Little Baby to Cuddle and Love, a bundle from heaven to think the world of!
Twinkle, Twinkle tiny light, Little eyes that shine so bright, A precious Baby from Heaven above, Fills our Hearts with so much Love
Bottles and booties, Bibs and more, A new little someone to Love and Adore
A Baby is Teddy Bears, Rattles, Powder and Pins, Meals at Midnight.... Giggles and Grins
A Baby is cuddles and tickles on toes, the sweet scent of powder, a kiss on the nose!
Best Wishes for your Happiness Today and Always
Wishing you all the happiest things in Life, all the best of Everything
May this Birthday bring life's true gifts - good health, friendship and Love
Hope you have a happy day celebrating with Family and Friends
Just a Note, Just a word or two - Thanking you for who you are and everything you do!
Friend are flowers that never fade
Hope your day is filled with all of your favourite things. Happy Birthday!!
With a sprinkle of fairy dust this wish comes to you, of a day full of wonder and hapiness for you. Have a magical Birthday. (Childs Birthday)
May the dreams you dream today, be the joys you enjoy tomorrow
Family faces are magic mirrors looking at people who belong to us, We see the past, present and future. Gail Lamet Buckley
May you find comfort in the knowledge that others care and sympathise with you.
May these words of sympathy and understanding too, bring comfort on the loss of one so very dear to you.
Hoping your treasured memories bring you comfort day by day.
May those beautiful yesterdays always remain in your heart, and your sorrow gently fade away.
Sue

sentiments
Some thing for "anniversary" cards is hard for me to come up with so I have used
" What's the earth with all its art, verse, music worth- compared with the love, found, gained, and kept?" by Robert Browning
Of course, it isn't a stamp so I have to type it out on the computer usually on vellum and attached inside with ribbon.

Thanks Sue and Estelle I will add these to the list and update tonight. Thanks so much. Don't worry if they are repeats, right now the list is small enough that I can find them easily. I am hoping our SCS members will help me move things around and comment sometime. Thanks again ladies.

Thank you ????
I was looking over the list, anyone have any thank you sentiments? We have two. I will search for some later. Right now, food shopping is calling. I will be posting an updated list later today. I have quite a few changes. Thanks everyone for your help.

This is one of my fav birthday sayings. My sister thinks it's morbid.
"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, champagne in one hand, strawberries and chocolate in the other, thouroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming---WOW--what a ride!!

Here is a link to a thread for Quirky Card Sayings, and in posts #34 and #44 there are Word docs with a bunch of these sayings in them, but they are not broken out by heading...There are some funny ones, though!

Thanks Jeanne,
I looked over the quirky sayings in that posta nd seems like I have all those already. If you guys see anything in Miscellanous that should be moved elsewhere let me know. Everything goes into Miscellanous until I figure out where it goes. The ones there now, I am not sure where they go, so they might live there. LOL.

I received a Christmas card with this verse. Loved it!
It’s the night before Christmas
Make a wish, close your eyes,
Listen for the reindeer hooves
And Christmas lullabies.

One I found that would work great for a thank you!
"Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless." Mother Theresa
Motivation:
"Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies." Mother Theresa
"We can do no great things; only small things with great love." Mother Theresa
(can you see a theme here?)

Hi Rachael,
Do you have excel? If you do maybe it's a lower version than what I am using and I will put up a link with a lower version. If not let me know and I will try to figure something out.

Not sure if this would be appropriate, but I found this on a papertowel roll.
"I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination."
Thanks this will be so helpful...will share with some of my other buddies.
