You know how many of us want that stitching guide in the new tool kit? But can't justify spending that much money when we all have just about everything else in the kit? And we wanted to know if SU would maybe put it in the next catalog all by itself? Today, at our local craft store, I found one from Lasting Impressions (the company that makes all the metal stencils for dry embossing). It has all different styles of holes, straight line, cross stitch and zig zag in two different sizes and a scribble stitch. Very cute. So, even though it's not SU, it will get me by until I can get that one (plus I had a 40% off coupon, which made it even better )

I went to lastingimpression.com to see what they look like. I want one!!! They don't seem to sell online, but they give you stores near your area that carry their products. Okay, I checked the stores they listed and no one carries them. Any ideas? I thought about checking ebay... but don't want to pay a crazy price for it so I haven't even looked.

Pinefeather - I did buy it at Crafts Direct. It's by the dry embossing stencils. Everyone else - Look for the dry embossing stencils (the expensive metal ones) in your stores. Here is a picture:

YEAH!! I love Crafts Direct!! Thank you for sharing the picture of what to look for. I was just debating about spending the $$$ and ordering the set, but this will work just fine. Thanks a millon girls!

Thanks for the info!! I guess I will just have to check every time I get up that way. Did they give you any idea when they would get more in? If you don't mind, can you let us know when you find they have more?
I will keep checking Gilly.. it gives me a good excuse to "stop by" there more often. I didn't ask when they would be getting more in the last time I was there, but i will ask the next time I go in if they still don't have any.
I would have done further investigating on saturday but i had dh and dd's with me and all together doesn't work for browsing - if you know what I mean..!
I'm so glad I read this thread. I was about to put in an order for the SU kit, which of course, I already have almost everything else!! Thanks so much for sharing everyone!
