Default Score-Pal?

I'm looking for a place to buy this that has the lowest shipping costs. Anyone have any suggestions? TIA!

I ordered mine from www.scorpal.com.....shipping was about 8.00 or so to Atlanta. Do they sell them anywhere else? I thought this was the only place to get one?

Yes, they are sold other places. Shipping to my location was $8.95 on the Score-Pal site. I'm going to do a bit more sleuthing, but may end up getting it there in the end.

franticstamper.com sells them, but I think it's the same price and shipping. That's the only other place to find them, I believe.

The price at franticstamper was the same, but shipping was actually a bit more there ($10 I think). I ordered from scor-pal on Sat. and it shipped almost immediately! I should have it either tomorrow or Thursday. I can't wait!!!

Smile scor-pal

Mine arrived yesterday....Only 2 business days after I received the notice of shipping---not bad for one of those days being a postal holiday. and traveling halfway across the continent. I am in love with it and I haven't even placed a sheet of cardstock on it yet.....It is just what I needed to encourage more card making...........

My new (read second!) Scor Pal came yesterday! I'm so happy! I've been scoring everything, instead of just folding and using my bone folder. ;-)

Mine is the old one also. I'd like to see the new one, too. I think it was going to have improvements on the measurements.

I am headed out the door for a 9 am appt, but I'll try to get a pic when I get back. Basically, there is now a score line every 1/2 inch along the left side, too. You still get the 2 1/8 score for gate fold, and now there is a matching score on the other side, too. (Too early to do the math! LOL)

Likely someone will already have a pic posted by the time I get back. :-)

Default New Scor-Pal

The other groove Amy spoke of is at 6 3/8" and is the partner groove to the 2 1/8" score for Gate Fold Cards. The numbers are much larger and there are 1/2" markings in teal down both side fences. I am waiting for my son to return from holiday, he does the web site and we will get a photo of the new one online.
Coming soon...our own forum for Scor-Pal. I am very excited!

Thumbs up

Mine came yesterday. I am so loving this tool!! I am doing a Funshop on Friday and had to score 30 12 x 12 pieces of cardstock, plus the covers for one sheet accordian booklets. Last night I whizzed through them all in a little over an hour.

Thank you Diane for coming up with such a wonderful product.

OK, it's very cloudy and rainy here today, and my daylight lamp just doesn't seem to be making much difference. Here are the pics I could get:

Default question

For those of us who haven't ordered and received on yet......GASP!!!! Are they only shipping the newest version now? So, in other words, if I ordered on later on tonight, will I get the newest version?

Thanks,

Kathy

I want to know that too. I have been waiting for the newer version.

Anyone know how much scorpa.com charges to ship to Canada?

Yes, you would get the new one. They sold out of the old one in late August. I checked with them by e-mail before ordered this new one. g

Diana is in Canada. It seems to me there was a link on her website about shipping within Canada, so watch for that. ;-)

Default Canada Post vs USPS

To ship from the west coast of Canada to the east coast is $13.50. To ship from the west coast of the US to the East coast is $8.75. Canadian postal rates are high!

I just got mine last week! Yes, it is the new version!

This is the most wonderful tool! Stop, do not pass go, and buy one! Support SCS and get it directly from Scor-Pal, she is the designer.

What are the benefits of owning a scorpal over our paper cutter with the scoring blade? I think this may just have to go on my Christmas list.. =)

TIA

I believe you can place your paper and make all your score lines without having to move it. I'm also told the scoring is more accurate.
I know I've never gotten much accuracy with scoring blade on my cutter. It was so frustrating that I stopped trying to do all the cute boxes and cards that require a lot of scoring.
I ordered a Score-Pal and am looking forward to getting it this weekend. I can't wait!

I just placed my order! I've been coveting one for quite a while, but just gave in finally and bought it. I'm glad it's the newest version!
Shipping was $8.75 to NY...not so cool, but I'm assured it will be worth it!

I ordered mine from www.morethanink.com usually Terry has pretty good shipping prices. Just email him and he will let you know how much the S&H will be. I shop there quite often and is a very nice person. If ever a question or anything is incorrect, he will either email you or even call you to make sure everything gets corrected.

That's the Scor-it, not the Score-Pal. That one is quite a bit more expensive in the larger size.

Just go to their site and order. I just read that they may be out for awhile. But, I preordered mine and she did not charge my account until it was shipped. Very nice lady to work with.
