Default Calling all owners of Everyday Flexible Phrases...

Are you using this set as much as you though you would? Was it truely worth the expense and the hassle mounting these? To buy or not to buy...hmmmm. I don't see many samples using them. Thanks for your help!

I have not bought it but have a friend who made magnets for her kids lunch bozes using then - in part.

She added words from her printer and then somehow got them onto the magnets..... she say she could ahve and would ahve done it all off her printer....

that being said -

personally - I entertained getting them for about 5 minutes and then started drooling over other things...... so this on is now on my LOW priority want list.

Just me - but you asked! I see LOTS of other things I would use more often for the money. I am also NOT a demo.

Smiles

I have it, spent at least an hour and a half mounting it. I used it for the first time today. Part of why I got it was a display at convention, also on p 216, that just struck my fancy too much not to get. Plus it was the most $$ set in the catty for on e of my stampin' start choices.
That all said, now that I have used it once, I think I will use it more. There are so many combinations. Sometimes I just have to get the rubber a little inky to get inspired.

Default had to have them

Hi,

I HAD to have these, I ordered them, painstakingly mounted them (cussing the whole time) .... have I used them even once? NO! LOL

I think I am mad at them... but I do have plans to use them... some other day!

You asked!

 OMG! I never knew it was going to take forever and a day to mount it. I have not even came close to getting it done! I am so afraid I will mess up the little itty bitty words and cut off to much rubber! I have taken a break every other one to keep from STRESSSING over it. I still can't wait to use it even though I have not a clue what I am going to use it on.

Default "I like it, I love it, I want some more of it!"

I totally use them all the time! I love them to death! But, then again, I have only one other word set. You can play the sayings up or pare them down (I've used "my father... my friend" and "happy birthday") I love that I can create a phrase that I'M feeling, not something "catchy" that others have used. Plus, I've seen them stamped on ribbon which is SOOO adorable.
Like I said, I LOVE them! Best set I've ever bought, honestly. So much you can do with them, but then you can just use them for adorable tag phrases!
My two cents,
Kendra

I use mine all the time. It now has a quasi-permanent home on my stamping table.

It has almost every holiday and greeting in the set...Halloween, Christmas, birthday, thanks, plus the adjectives for the specific person the card's going to.

Yes, it's a PITA to mount. Yes, it's going to be a PITA until I remember which words are mounted together. But it's very, very cool having all of those words!

If you're looking for more samples, try entering "flexible phrases" in the search field. I think there are many more samples, but they're listed in other categories.

I use mine frequently and adore them!!

They are worth the cost to me due to the amount I have used them thus far.

I "researched" how to mount them HERE.

I took two hours to figure out how I was going to mount them...I did this before they even arrived.

It took 1/2 hour to mount them.

I ended up doing both labels on top - I WISH TO THANK the SCS'r that recommended this - this method works the best for me.

Yes, purchase them. I love mine and use them all the time, especially when you don't want a verse to overpower a card. Be sure to cut them a little larger than you normally would though....I cut some of mine small and they slid right off the wood when I cleaned them. Just be careful not to rock the stamp when you stamp off.

I got this set with hostess credit and I wasn't sure if I'd use it myself. I have been using it MUCH more than I thought I would. If you've got the $$$ to invest in it, you won't be sorry!

Thanks for the answers. Looking it up under the search is a great idea. I'll try that too!

I recently got mine. Have not assembled yet as the back to school rush was a priority. I really want to try embossing them on the metal magic tags to make them charms!

I guess I need to do "research" to find out how to mount them!

Default get them! They haven't been hard for me to use!

If you use a lot of tags, these are a great size for them. (My sweet daughter, etc. for tiny tags that go on cards.) I LOVE it, and see many uses for it. I've already used it for stamping on ribbon, and that was fun!
