There was one for spring that fell through. Last March we had a Shoebox Swap held in Dayton that was the 1st annual so hopefully, there will be another one next March. There was 30 of us and a bunch of fun!
I am not one for planning anything as I may be moving at some point this year but I would love to go to something in Ohio.

I would love to go if there ever is a get-together! Although I'm sitting here in the northeast part of the state on the Lake! But hey, I'll drive! Okay ladies, road trip!
I'm in Northeast Ohio (North Canton) and would love to meet up with fellow SCS members. I'm willing to drive, too! I just moved from Dublin last year, so I'm familiar with Columbus area, too.

I have noticed that there is a group getting together from the Cincy area. Maybe we could try something for the northern part of the state. As I said before, I would be willing to do a road trip! For stamping ..... hey, I'll do almost anything! ;)
Well, I am in the middle of Ohio (almost), near Mansfield. I would not mind organizing one if I had several stampers interested. I just see people from other areas having them and wondered about Ohio.
I am from the Cincinnati area as well. I have never been to any SCS meeting but would be interested as would a friend of mine that is also a member. As far as the meetings go - what do you do, where are they usually held, etc.??

I'd like to join the get together!! I'm in Mansfield too!!! I just LOVE shoebox swaps!! (I'm not sure if that is on the adgenda or not!) Let me know if you need any organizational help.
I was trying to get something together around the Columbus area for this past Spring. There were a couple other ladies willing to help but life got in the way of it coming together. I would still love to see a get together since there are so many SCSers in OH. Unfortunately life is still in the way and we just moved into a new house and we're trying to sell our other house so I can't take the lead in planning it.
I too am from the Cincinnati area. I would love to have the chance to meet up with other people from SCS. Unfortunately, the two ladies I stamp with are both moving. My neighbor whom I stamp with all of the time is moving at the end of July and the other lady I stamp with is either moving at the end of July or in September. I do not know anyone else who stamps.
Ok, here's some info. bethpebbles and I have been pm-ing, and we are looking into some places for availibility, probably somewhere right off of I-71, just north of columbus, near Mansfield. Please let me know if you would be interested so we can get an approximate number of how many might come.
Hi Becky!!!! Life certainly did get in the way didn't it!!! A couple of places that I looked into were the Metro park system lodges. Here locally in the Cols area there are a few that house 75-90 people for a fee of $200 for all day. Originally we had roughly 50 people respond that they would be interested in attending. I'd be willing to help out anyway I could. I just don't think I could spearhead the gathering at this time.
I would be interested also in a Columbus area gathering. I'm sure I'd have a few friends to come along, too. Sounds like fun, I'm excited thinking about a get-together!!
This is my first post and I am so excited that I found this. I would be delighted to meet other stampers and I would be willing to drive not too far away. I also have a few friends that would come for the ride.
I am up for a drive, or help in setting up... let me know

I'm very interested in a get-together. I live outside of Akron so a drive north to the Cleveland area or south to the northside of Columbus would work for me. I'd prefer a Saturday. Or pick another day and give me an excuse to take a vacation day from work!
Quite awhile ago I ran away from home for the night and stayed at the Amerihost Hotel in Mansfield at Exit 169. I told the guy I was there to scrapbook in peace and quiet and he said his mom and her friends used there conference room for that. I don't think it's too far away (a little less than an hour from Columbus) but it may be an option. Maybe they could give a discount on rooms if we have so many people stay over night.
Any SCSers around Mansfield wanna check into something like that?
some of the other organization book a place in Berlin ohio I think it's call be berlin inn or something i could check correct name for you anyway if i remember right they get to scrap for about 75.00 a day that might have included their rooms also. and there is a place to leave your scrapbooking set up for the night so can leave it and come back. pm me if you want me to get name & number for you. sharon
