I realized this today after I was looking at my dd.
I noticed that her skirt was similar to Wild Wasabi and her shirt, Pomegranate.
Then I was admiring her Pumpkin Pie hair color along with her Brocade Blue eyes. I really liked that her cheeks had a shade similar to Pretty in Pink and her skin a warm Blush blossom.
I will now get into my Certainly Celery sheet set with some Perfect Plum accents and dream some more of my newfound obsession.
Admitting it should be the first step to recovery but.... this is more of a group of enablers then a support group. So no the insanity does not stop.
I must say, I relate everything to SU colours...even my little boys will say look mom it's yoyo yellow.
Well I'm off to my pretty in pink room with the basic grey sheets so sweet dreams.

Hee hee hee...my friends and I do that too! When we're on the phone getting clothes together for the next day, we tell each other the SU! colors of what we're picking out!

Yes it's crazy but I am painting the inside of my house SU colors. I wish they sold house paint. My paint guy at Benjamin Moore laughs at me everytime I bring in a piece of cardstock for him to match. I am currently painting my kid's bathroom Bayou Blue. It can't be helped!!!
I am going ot repaint my craft room Mellow Moss. Love that color. I keep looking at things and putting them in SU colors also. But what a great addiction to have

oh yes, me too!! My friends beach towel yesterday was the block stamp from little shapes, the colors were old olive, basic black, pumpkin pie, tempting turquoise, and summer sun. She is NOT a stamper so I kept to myself the whole time I was thinking what a pretty and modern card her beach towel would make!!!!
oh, and my husband asked me in bed last night "what are you thinking about?" and I said "stampin' up!" and he said "of course you are" Heeheehee...
I'm addict...

Oh too funny! Dont worry, I have been doing the same thing. I have sometimes looked at a pattern and thought to myself "Wow, that looks like "...." stamp set". I too have also compared colors. lol. I hadnt event thought about it. :-) My biggest clue to MY obsession was when I was up SUPER late stuck to my computer looking at this site, then when i tried to go to bed, it took me forever to get to sleep because I couldnt stop thinking about SU! lol. So, I am glad I am not alone! :-)
I knew I was obsessed with SU when I saw the colors of the card stock. Thats all it took. I was not a stamp though, and it took me a while to warm up to making cards. LOL I'm really a scrapbooker! But now after 5 years I am hooked and there's no turning back.. My Demo is very happy. I was a demo for over a year, but I was more happy placing orders for myself and making cards for her to show.
Too funny!!
I thought I was the only one who took paper scraps to the brick yard to match colors for the omni stones for our patio!!
Now I'm inspired for my painting projects - hmmmmmmmmmmm, wild wasabi foyer a little too much?!?

Is a beautiful color. My friend Debbie's granddaughter loves it and she had to get everything available in that color.
I am guilty of taking my SU! color chart to Sherwin William's paint counter to match up my studio wall color to C. Celery, one bathroom is so saffron and the worst (shh...don't tell my mom) I have a teeny-tiny SU! tattoo (and no, I don't have an angel policy tattoo next to it!lol)
Haha, me too. I wore an outfit to work last week that I got complimented on by a few people. The clothes were still the same clothes that I've worn to work before but then I realized - I was only wearing 2 main colors and 1 other color. It was just like in card making where things look great when there are only 2 or 3 colors! I'm obsessed with SU! too and all other things that have to do with making cards
I have seen young girls in clothes that look like chocolate chip, wild wasabi, pomegranate and found myself thinking they look like rubber stamp outfits! Wow, what a relief to know I am not alone. Do you think there is some sort of addictive properties in the rubber itself, or in the catalog pages, or the ink, maybe? It has to be something like that, doesn't it?
I have to incidents I'm willing to confess to. Once at the grocery store I saw a magazine cover with a slice of chocolate pie with whipped cream, next to a bowl of cherries all in front of a light blue wall. Went home and made a card using Cool Car., Rose Red, and Choc. Chip.
Just the other day there was a banner ad (Disney family?) with colors similar to pumkin pie, soft sky and basic grey. Made a note to use those together.
Oh yeah and I've made notes based on house colors I drive by. And quilts and clothes and product packaging and ...

My co-worker and I are always talking about SU colors. We will see someone and say 'look she is wearing 'taken with teal' today'. Everyone at work wonders what we are talking about. (Most know and think we are crazy but we don't care.)
I remember last year I was painting my living room one morning, I had to hurray and get 'cleaned up' to make it to stamp camp in the afternoon. When I walked in someone noticed that I had 'So Safron' on my heels still. (I am a bare foot painter and I get it all over me.)
It is great to see that others share the same insanity!

It should by hurry, not hurray. Where is the edit when you need it.

Ha ha! I see everything in SU colors now. Every house on my street is an SU color. There's a Certainly Celery, Bravo Burgandy and Very Vanilla Victorian on the corner. We even have a house on my street that is that Only Orange with Chocolate Chip trim. (No I am not kidding).
But the kicker is- they just restored another Victorian around the corner and I didn't know what color it was- that is until the new SU colors came out. Yep- It is Groovy Guava with River Rock Trim!! Thanks goodness for the new catty because I would have never known what color that was!!
LOL I just finished getting all the ink pads. I have all the card stock too, along with the refill ink bottles. Now just have to find the time to make some cards.
I can admit that I am an addict, but this addict is not willing to give up her addiction. We just bought a new home and when I was deciding what colors to paint the walls for each room I brought out my handy SU CS index, which I have been knowen to carry in my purse, my girls decied on Lovely Lilac and Orchid Opulence for there room, my DH picked out Soft Sky for our room and my craftroom is Tempting Turquise and Chocolate Chip. Thankfully the girl at the paint store didn't look at me like I was crazy when I showed her the colors I wanted, she just went over to the paint charts and picked out the colors on there list so she could mix the paint for me and they are a perfect match to what I wanted. We are not crazy ladies we are just better color cordinated than others.
