Hi everyone, I'm Maryam in Longmont, CO. That's near Boulder. I've been stamping for about 5 years now. A year ago I became a SU! demo. I've yet to have a workshop though! I always exceed my quarterly minimum just by all the catalog orders from my girlfriends. I know, I should get my act together and just do a workshop. I'm going to convention next month with my best friend and I anticipate getting all PUMPED UP about my demonstratorship!
Other info on me... I've got two little girlies and a hardworking ever-lovin' husband. Every Wednesday night I have my girlfriend over and we stamp until 2AM or so. It keeps us happy. I'll get to work on posting the cards I'm the most proud of!

I have never heard of Maryam spelled that way until last week... Some girlfriends and I went to Starbucks to gab and the lady asked us our name and then proptly wrote it on the cup, sorta. When we got to our table we noticed that my name was Cammy (it's Tammy), Tamara was Cameron and Miriam was Maryam.
Nice to know a real, live, authentic Maryam!

Hey thanks for sending me my first reply! I too am a Kansas girl. I was raised in Wichita, KS. I love the midwest especially at this time of year. I love the hot summer rains and the deep dramatic sunsets! Colorado has had some crazy weather lately and the rain has been pouring down.

Hey Katymom-- yeah, Maryam is Iranian. Believe it or not, I am half Irish and half Iranian. My parents met in college. I am the only red head I know of who can get really tan in the summer!
Welcome aboard! You are gonna love this place, but be careful cuz you can spend more time here than stamping! If you have any questions just post them & you will receive a whole lotta help!

My FIL calls my boys "tochma sach" (sp?), which is egg of a dog!
When my first son was a baby they called him "guz" and I didn't think anything of it until I very loudly called him that in a store within earshot of some Iranians. Needless to say I stopped calling him that!
