I used the stylus with the Fiskars feathers texture template to add texture to the dp and the triangle, doesn't show up too well in the pic, but I promise you it's there. Thanks it was quite challenging and fun!
I made this earlier today but have been too busy to load it. It was fun embossing and actually doing a challenge. It has been a long time. Here is my card for a dear friend, it reminds me of her. WT121 Ginger Jar by Cynthia Wilson at Splitcoaststampers
Oh my goodness I am up so late!! Here is my card for the wonderful challenge. Thanks Julia for the encouragment to use my neglected stylus and brass plates!! WT121, Tropical Happiness by NANCYRUTH at Splitcoaststampers and thanks for looking!
Here's mine, finished at 7:15 this morning, almost made me late for work!! Thanks for this great challenge, Julia. I love pergamano, but never do it because I think I don't have time. But this didn't really take a huge amount of time.

I have to do my cards in stages sometimes bc I don't have uninterrupted time to work...kwim... I know you do!
Anyway, while started by the Color Challenge, it sat there bc it "needed" something. The stylus challenge hit the spot... There are dry embossed circles along the bottom of the scallops. I think they look super cool irl.
They were made by using the larger circles on the Mat Pack Piercing Template that is there to line up large eyelets. There is a diagonal marking on the template that easily allows you to perfectly line up the circles to the scallop made by the slit punch. Cool huh?
I discovered to my dismay that my light box is not strong enough to shine through SU cardstock, so I had to change my original idea. Here's what I came up with:
This challenge was a challenge for me. I have a stylus and rarely use it and this challenge made me come out of the box. It is hard to see that the musical note is raised.
OK, I'm a first timer doing this.....I uploaded my challenge card in the Gallery, it's under Warm words. How in the heck do I add a link HERE to the card? DH (the computer geek) says he cannot help me (and besides, he's busy sanding the cabinet pieces for me to paint). Stampers? Help!
The card is my first attempt at dry embossing, I really wanted to try my first challenge, but now I'd like to be able to comply with the instructions.
Contrapat . . . go to the gallery where you have your card and open it so you see it in front of you. Then go up to the address bar and highlight the filename of that card (http: . . . . .) and do Cntrl+C (copy) . . . then go back into WT121 forum and post a thread stating Here is my card (or something to that affect) then do Cntrl+V (paste) . . .this will add the link in your post to your card. Hope I helped.
Darlene-THANK YOU! I hate feeling dumb. So, for anyone who wants to see my first dry embossing, the link is:Cherish by contrapat at Splitcoaststampers. Maybe if I start trying challenges, I'll actually use all my toys!
It's good to learn new things.
Pat: Glad you were able to get it posted! Card looks great! I've started getting involved with the challenges and it has helped me tremendously. Good luck . . . looking forward to seeing more.
Well I gave it a whirl, would have been cuter if I could have gotten the white on my image.
Here is my sample. Thanks for looking. I hope I am doing this right, first timer here. Dry Embossing by Nancy Freitag at Splitcoaststampers
Here's my double duty card, I used it also for the Halloween Challenge. I used cuttlebuy dry embossing folders for circle shapes to match the designer paper, but then also used the Classy Brass embossing plates and stylus to bring the circle embossing into the spider image. You can barely see it, but it's adorable.
