I'm sorry it took me so long. I had a REALLY busy week. I worked late into the night last night finishing this, but it wasn't approved til this morning. So, with little ado (please excuse the fuzziness-- my scanner died and I forgot to use the micro mode and it is fuzzy). But you should be able to use it just the same.

For my example, I'm afraid I went a little far afield. I need to get my pictures printed! But I don't have the money this week, so this will have to do. All the pictures I have that currently need scrapping are slated for my 8 1/2 x 11 landscape album. But, I think I got the essentials that make the sketch unique and interesting.

I know I start with good intentions of working on one more accurate to the actual sketch, but in reality this week is going to be really busy this week too. So, you all will have to do it for me.

FOR THOSE WHO DO SINGLE PAGE LAYOUTS: I pick these layouts specifically because they have really cute first pages. They are designed for you to use only page one if you prefer to work this way.

For an 8 1/2 x 11 vertical, you might find a single vertical photo rather than 2 horizontal 4x6, would work better. Or if you like the horizontal, try 3x5.

Again, even if you don't actually post a photo, chime in and describe what you did or post comments to those who did do the layout. Scrampers (stamping scrapbookers) need support as they are really a minority in the scrapping world.

Happy Scrapping

Your layout is great! Im going to get started on this as soon as my kiddos go down for a nap! DH works on Sundays.

I'll post when I'm done but I don't have a scanner big enough for my 12x12, so I'll have to take a pictue of it.

Oh, I do love these multi photo layouts! And this one looks great for using lots of embellishments. The ahrd part for me is deciding what photos don't get used. Off to the craft room!

Here's my page. I did a single page only because at the time we took this trip to
DeVry's campus my trusty camera was on it's death bed and off all the pictures we took of the campus and classrooms only one was developable. So I added the student catalog front page and made it work as a single. Now I have my digital but as you can see I need practice especially on holding it still to get a clear shot. I promise to improve my skills for future challenges.

Smile Thanks!

Thanks for the great sketches that you have been putting out there! I have been printing out the sketches in the hope that someday soon I will have some time to actually scrap again. We're preparing to sell our home and move so things are crazy around here and I'm lucky if I can get a card done here or there, let alone scan and post my stuff. Just wanted to let you know I appreciate what you do and the time involved! Thanks again!

dpierstamper, I just checked out your page and I was the same way with my digital camera when I first got it. Even though the image is blurred, I could still see what a great job you did with the page! I am impressed!

Does your camera have a micro mode? This blurriness is not from jiggling the camera, but from being so close to the object you are focusing on that the auto focus system can't get a clear focus. Jiggled camera blurriness has a different look to it.

Most cameras have a special mode for taking pics of flowers. Mine has a micro and a super micro mode. If you switch to micro it will be clearer. I FORGOT to do this with the sketch (oops) and it is blurry. Sorry about that.

I finished my two page layout last night since I was off work. I'm glad I remebered to save the receipt from the trip to add to this. My journaling is a bit long, but I wanted to write down as much as I could.
