Where can I find...
the Starbucks Frapicino 4 packs for cheap? And for those who have made these, do you have an estimate for how much paper is used for them? Any hints or tips would be appreciated as well!! TIA!

I get them at Safeway on sale for 4/6.99 - they went up recently... the bottles take very little paper (you can use scraps even!) Covering the carrier will use a bit of paper...a plan on a sheet for each side and then the middle divider/handle. A total of 4-5 sheets should be sufficient.

If you spray paint the box a color that coordinates with your paper you can use even less paper.

What is QFC? Obviously I don't have on near me. Both Wal mart and Target in my area carry them, but not cheaply in my opinion. But, I don't drink much coffee, so it's one of those things I have to be in the mood for.

Quality Food Center. I think that it is a Pacific Northwest chain. I'd never seen one until I moved up here.

not sure that the words Starbucks and cheap actually belong in the same sentence...I buy the bottles for a lesser price at Sam's Club however they don't come in the 4 pack carrying case, boo hoo! Jan

I LOVE the drinks so I'm wondering.... what do you do with the bottles and carrying case? I might have to get my mom to start saving hers if it's something really cool!

Here is a great sample from the gallery. I am doing this for a retreat, and I think I am going to have the ladies bring their own.

Hey you guys! Just in case you don't already know, the Frappachino Mocha doesn't taste like coffee (well, not to me, and i'm a heavy coffee drinker). Put it over ice, put some whipped cream on top, use a shake of little cocoa nuggets from baking store, and it's a sweet Iced Cappachino.
Ok, my spelling is off, and I type badly.
I just looked at them to put all of my Prima flowers in, figured I get a drink and a bottle for $1.50 each, not bad! Thing is, I needed 12 bottles overnight... guessed it wouldn't matter that I'd be peeing all night, since I sure would be up anyway. Figured with all the caffeine I'd need to consume, I wouldln't sleep for a week- and it is too expensive to send down the drain. Ended up with little sugar shaker bottles at the dollar store.

That is a great idea! If I had connections to get drink holders that would perfect!! I will remember that for neighbor gifts.
Does anyone have the measurements for the box by chance? I am going to use the wrapping paper in the mini and was wondering if I needed 1 or 2. Thanks gals!!

Not sure how the price would compare but you could buy the case at Sams/Costco that come without the drink carriers and in the "bulk buy" forum right now someone is selling the 2 pack or the 4 pack drink holders. It might actually end up to be cheaper?

I would try that, but I don't think they would get here by the 14th. I have asked if everyone would bring their own, and so far nobody has cared. Thanks to all of you for helping me out!!

Check the Walgreens ads. They regularly have sales on this. They aren't on sale this week, though.

Hi all---just wanted to let you know that i am doing a bulk buy for the carriers---2 drink and 4 drink ones---so if you have the bottles already, and just need the carriers, this might be the ticket!!! I am ordering on Tuesday, so check out the thread in my signature if you are interested.

Mot,
I saw that you were looking for the measurement for the frap holders. I am too and I was wondering if anyone shared them with you. Want to do a few of these up this weekend and am just trying to cut corners.
Thank you,
