Default velvet stamping

Does anyone know what kind of velvet I need for velvet stamping? I bought some velvet that was quiet expensive and then my sister in law doesn't think that it is the correct one. Anyone know what kind I need?

Help!

HOT POTATOES!!!!

If you have ever seen the Caroll Duval show with Mary O'Neil you are in for a treat.

Mary is the owner of Hot Potatoes, a stamp & crafting wonderland in Tennessee.

Check out www.hotpotatoes.com

You need a velvet that is acetate & rayon. Don't use velvet that is 100% rayon.

I believe her website has great directions for stamping on velvet. HTH!
