*Sorry* I am so sorry for being so late with this, I had to take dh to the ER last night sort of unexpectely LOL and I didn't get home until late and forgot all about this until just now! I am very sorry to all of you who have waited so patiently today for it!
REMINDER: Please put SC24 in the keyword section of your upload so that everyone can check back to find your beautiful work!
The second I saw today's inspiration card I knew it HAD to be used for a sketch challenge! Prettylikesun created this week's inspiration card and I loved her use of shading around the blocks, the cut out flowers and the fabulous colors as well as the layout.
**Sketch Challenge 23 winner is...... I used a computer program my dh has that has a random number generator instead of cutting and numbering 99 little slips LOL and the random number it gave me was .........10 - Rebecca Wheeler!!!!! Congrats to Rebecca! I will be sending her some goodies in the next couple of days. There will be more contests in the future and I have a few different ones planned so be on the lookout for the next Sketch Challenge bonus fun contest coming to a sketch challenge in the near future!!!!!
To print this layout: - (nc means no color) If you see a small layout click on it or if you see an icon click on the words next to it.
-When the black surround screen appears click only on the layout and a white screen with the layout should appear.
-Right click and click on print from the pop up box or hold down your shift key and P key at the same time.
-Now you're ready to choose print and it should print to actual size of the card depending on your computer.
Oh Andrea - I hope all is well with your hubby now. Being up all night in the E.R. is awful!! Done it a few times. Was really getting concerned for you!
Thanks so much for posting the new challenge despite what you've been through in the last 24 hours!
thoughts and prayers for your DH...Holy Cow...I am so excited...I never win anything...hope you don't mind sending stuff to Canada...these challenges are the best...now I am really hooked. Won't be able to play till next week as we have a huge rhubarb festival here, and my ds and our 3 daughters are making 250 pies on friday...we have already made 400 jars of jam and rhubarb salsa..so if anyone is near Shedden Ont..half way between Windsor and Toronto...stop by..
Andrea...here is my email...and thanks so much for all you do...Rebecca
woo hoo, a reason to go to the stamp table tonight, or better yet . . .two challenges to work on tomorrow. Thanks for posting, and hope DH feels better!

Thanks for the concern ladies! All is well now. About 30 minutes after I posted last night we went to watch Ocean's 12 and the dvd player wouldn't work so h started fiddling around and electrocuted himself!!! Not exactly sure what happened as he can't remember now what he was doing at the time lol but he kinda went limp and passed out. He came to but said he felt funny and couldn't remember what had just happened so I took him over to ER. They watched him for a little bit and they said he was fine and that he didn't BBQ his insides like I thought he did LOL. OUr house has some really old wiring and I think that had something to do with it. Anyway, thanks again for the concern, I appreciate all of the positive thoughts!!!
Great inspiration card...
and glad hubby is OK. Reminds me of the time I tried to "unlock" the electric outlet with a bobby pin "key" - whoo hoo that was exciting (I was three years old at the time!!)

Oh, I hope DH is ok, I new something must be up as I just started these challenges within the past month and I know you are so on the ball. Again hope DH is doing well,
Glad to hear you DH wasn't hurt bad. Will work on this tomorrow because I will only have the 2 grandkids so I can play while they play. Plus my eyes are crossed form trying to do sterigraph.

Congratulations Rebecca! Andrea, your ER visit had good results and am glad your DH is fine. I did a card and submitted it twice, but it keeps getting removed, can't explain that one, but I'll try again.
Oh, my, Andrea. You must have been scared half to death by your husband's experience. I'm glad he is okay.
Thanks for posting the sketch despite all you've been through. I'll hopefully get time to play tomorrow. Got to start getting ready to go on vacation though!
Andrea! That is so scary! I am glad he is ok, poor guy!
Rebecca, congrats on your win! The festival sounds so fun!
Here are my 3 tries for this week. I just love these darn sketch challenges! They are so fun! They really make you get creative! I combined the color challenge with one.
Oh, I know how much "fun" those late night trips to the ER can be. Have done it a few times with our little guys.
Thanks for the sketch! Right away my creative gears were turning and I finally have a good sketch for my new Classic Convertibles set! Father's Day is just around the corner!
I'll be back sometime in the morning with my creation... or two!
Janice
Glad to hear your DH is okay! Kinda scary! My DH is fiddling with electronics all the time and I always worry about him! We have an old house too and he swears he knows what he's doing... but you know men.... Ugh!
The sketch this week is awesome! I hope I can find some time to play today!

This is my first attempt at the challenge and I had not looked at anybody else's stuff and low and behold I have seen several cards using this same set. I am sorry, I should have looked in the gallery first. At least I put a different twist on it and the arrangement. So sorry, I will try to apologize individually...
I got mine done as quick as I could! Now I have to run off to pick up kid from school... then off to the pool we go! I gotta say... I really like this sketch and will prolly do more when I get a bit more time!
I'm back...but just with simple cards as baby is keeping me busy and I'm still trying to recover. Hope you don't get tired of baby thank yous as I have a lot of people to thank. This is an awesome sketch challenge this week. Love it!
How scary for you. Your husband was passed out so missed most of the excitement. I bet your wiring is now on the "to do" list. Sure glad it all turned out fine for both of you. I have not tried a sketch challenge yet, but I don't think I can pass this one up. Will try this weekend. Thanks for all your hard work. All you SCS girls are just awesome! Another fan, Nancy
Here are my two cards. I wanted to get them done and uploaded earlier but life just gets in the way!
Both cards are pretty similar, I just changed the embelishments a bit. On card b I used ribbon to cover up some shadowing from the Father's Day stamp. I love ribbon!! SC-24a SC-24b
Hope to make more this week!

how to use poly-shrinky dink stuff!!! I love this sketch and had tons of fun with it. I was feeling brave and got out the shrinky-dink to create the corner charms on the sentiment tag. I also stepped out of my box and used Bashful Blue, Sahara Sand & Chocolate Chip to create a Shabby Chic look. Enjoy!
I finally did a challenge! Despite all of my good intentions, week after week has been getting away from me without doing a sketch challenge and the next thing I know it's Wed. again and time for a new one. I think I need to do more of these. Now I have tons of ideas running through my head. Thanks Andrea!
