Default 13 boxes of legalpads

I guess I didn't realize how many legal pads I ordered from viking for 5 cents! Yesterday they came!!! 13 boxes in my driveway. So I thought I better do something with them. I took several pads to Office Max and they cut them into thirds and in half. Guess what I'll be doing this weekend.

If you ever say "OK - Let me find a piece of paper" I will laugh my head off!

That is some serious paper! Looks like we know what you will be going for gift exchanges for a while!!!

TOO FUNNY!

Default me too!!

I too bought a ton of those pads..
I do alot with retreats for church, family reunions..and just gifts.
And for the price....you wouldn't buy a ton.
I ended up with 146 pks..X 5 = 730 pads!!
for $7.30!!
I a pad cut into
1-5X8 pad
1-long pad..shopping list
1-odd shaped on..I bought "padding compound" and made them into pads and sold them at a craft sale. 4/$1!! Made more on those then all the 730 pads cost!!

have fun. My husband just laughs at all them under my work station.

How do you find them for that price? Was it just a one day sale?

You're lucky. I placed three orders with Viking a couple of weeks ago each one containing 10 or more of the legal pads and received phone calls from Viking informing me the limit is one and I would not be receiving what I ordered. I only got one package of legal pads. Bummer!

Mine were initially on backorder too but I was told the orders would not be honored as the promotion was for new customers only and the limit one. Oh well.

I too have pretty many legal pads...luckily I read on here that there were 5 to a pack before I ordered them.

Someone said that they took them to an office supply store and they cut them. How much does this cost?

Default Cost for cutting

I paid .75 for each cut and they can do 2 packs at a time.

It is sooooooooo worth it to make other projects. I am loving
my stash

I have gotten alot of emails about the pads and I am not going to be able to part with any more of the pads. My upline has purchased a few and so have some others but I would like to hold on to the remainder for myself I plan to use them for make and takes. Thanks for understanding. Heidi

I didn't get the 10 packs that I ordered either, they were on backorder and then they told me that there was a limit of 1.

I work for a printing company and we have a large cutter, so I had them cut into thirds. They are great. Even though I only got 5.
