Default Cool finds...

Yesterday, scoping out a new scanner (3 in one) at Target, I spotted COPPER circular clips, in a mix with antique and bronze ones, 50 for $2.50!!!!!

I discovered a cool adhesive for VELLUM that DOESN'T SHOW: 3M Removable Glue Stick. It works AWESOME! So far, it's the best I've found yet for "gluing" down vellum! You can find it at WALMART--in scrapbook section!!!!! Under $2.

BTW, I ended up (tho I swore I'd never buy another HP product after having 3 lemons) buying the HP 1210v 3-in-one for $88.95 and hoping that at least if it bites it, I'm not out huge bucks. Anybody got a review on this product to share?

I found those same circular clips at Target also. I was really excited! I wanted the silver ones everyone has been talking about cannot find them at Target or Walmart. Thanks for the tips about the vellum adheasive, I will have to check that out.

Great finds! I'm going to have to get some of those clips!

My parents have an HP 3 in 1...not sure if it's the same model or not. They've had it about 6 months and no problems...use it all the time. The ink lasts a long time. I've used it and it's very fast at printing! I hope you have good luck with this one!

Julie,
My daughter has the 1210 and my husband bought it for his business. They both love it. Never had a problem with them either. Probably a good choice for the $$!

What section were the clips in? These sound like MUST haves! Ü The adhesive does too!

 I hate to sound clueless, but are these clips sort of like round paper clips to be used as an embellishment?

I have the 2210 because I needed a fax as well, and I've never had a problem with it. And believe me, between me and my 4 kids, it gets A LOT of use.

i have the HP 1210 and I love it! the only problem is that it is a slow printer. But, I don't print out a huge amount of copies at one time. I love the compactablity of it!

i know you will like it!

Julie, I bought those same clips. I noticed they match really well with the new brads from the Holiday mini catalogue. I'll have to try something out with the two of them.

I was thinking of buying that same HP 3-in-1. I have never had a scanner and have been wanting one badly. Hopefully, this one will do the trick!

Thank you SO much for the tip Julie!!! My DH had the day off so we made a quick trip to Target. I found the clips on the office supply aisle. I also scoped out the back to school area, but they did not have them in that section. I can't wait to use these!

We purchased an HP2200 all in one (prints, scans, faxes & copies) about 2 years ago and love it. My mom, DH and I went in to purchase a HP6110 for my dad for his birthday this past April. It was such a bargain on sale at Office Depot that even the store clerk ringing me up thought it was a mistake!!!

I have the HP psc 750, 3 in 1 and I love it! The only problem I've had is it sometimes needs to be unplugged and replugged after a power outage. I also have the Lexmark X5270 3 in 1 and it seems to be working fine, too. I know, 2 scanners in one home seems a little exessive but I have 2 teenagers and my DH teaches on-line for the U of Phoenix. There's hardly a moment that our computers are not in use. I'm just lucky I get my SCS time in...lOl!

Do you have it plugged it to a surge protector thingy? I think that might help. My DH the computer whiz is not home so I can't confirm that.

almost forgot:

I HAVE THE SILVER CIRCLE PAPER CLIPS FROM WAL-MART!!!!!!!! The reason I'm so excited and shouting is that it took me 3 Wal-marts to find them. No point in anyone else going there cause I bought them all!

I have the HPd135 all in one and I love it. I've had it for almost two years now and have had no trouble with it.

Default cool finds

I also found the clips in the office supply section at Target. I thought they were great and they do match the SU vintage brads so well. I like finding new stuff to use for stamping and scrapping in the odd sections of stores.
I also have the HP750 3 in 1 and really like it. I found remanufactured ink refill cartridges by Data Corp. at Target, they were selling for only $4.98 and two days ago they raised the price to $19.99. It was such a deal at only $4.98, guess I should have bought them out. It's still cheaper by a long shot to only pay $19.99 for my ink cart. The HP ones go for $30-40 a piece for black and color.
