IC88 - Rug [11-Aug-07]
Inspiration Challenge 88 - Rug - IC88
Today's inspiration was suggested by Taylor (aka stagccva). These cool hooked rugs can be found at LL Bean. Use either the one I have attached, or choose a different one.
Samples:
Country Greetings - by me
View IC88 Gallery
How to Play View the attached image. You may be inspired to recreate the piece - but that isn't necessary...get your inspiration from the colors, layout, or 'theme'. Don't worry - no card is 'wrong'! There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild -- be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Please use the IC88 keyword when uploading your card (no space b/n IC and the challenge number).
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Thank you.

VERY PRETTY! Can't wait to play and to see what everyone else comes up with! I'll have to sleep on it as I have had a horrible migraine today and need to call it a day...I'm on it tomorrow, though!

Here's a quick one from me. It didn't quite turn out like the image I had in mind. I didn't know how to shorten the link to the rug, sorry.

Another great inspiration! Look forward to doing this. Been too busy to do any challenges for the last while.
I think Christine should get the most votes on her card for sheer "involvement"! Buying the inspiration piece?! LOL! What a hoot! Now that gal was inspired! WTG Christine!

Oh boy! So much to choose from here, may have to do more than one if I can get all my chores done today! Glad I got started early!
Here's the first one, inspired by the sample rug posted for the challenge.

This is the first challenge I've done all week, but I couldn't miss Karen's. It's my favorite. I chose the Bright Blue Coins rug as my inspiration.

Have you heard of Inchies before. I noticed a thread yesterday and was intrigued by all the little, baby cards poeple had done. Check it out by clicking on the red inchies link above.

Got one done, and I like it okay, but after looking at the rug again I wish I had time for another chance at it. That's a gorgeous rug.

Thanks Taylor and Karen for a fun challenge today! I spent waaaaaay too much time on this for the fairly simple card I ended up with, but I do really like how it turned out. TFL!
