Arkansas SCS Gathering!
See bottom of this post for an update please.......
Are you ready for another gathering?! It is long overdue if you ask me!
SO Here is the scoop:
When: September 22, 2007 from 10:30 Until 2ish ;)
Where: Jacksonville, AR (just north of Little Rock)
At Tracey Thompsons "Stampin Palace" ;)
~ time and directions will be posted soon
Sign up NLT September 8th so that we have plenty of time to make our trading cards.
How about we do some ATC cards for trading and time to socialize with our fellow SCS addicts ;) hehe
So let me know if you can attend so that we have a head count for our ATC cards.
Ok Ladies: Due to the fact that many can not attend and we have had a few more cancellations today we are going to have to cancel this event. Sorry for the short notice ~ if you have already made your ATC's you can always RAK them to others! I will have a poll in the future to help us determine a better date!

I want to attend the following one after this date. Sorry, but hopefully Thursday September 20th is my last chemo session. So I will be out of commission for several days after it.

I have not made any ATC's either but I know there is a template here on SCS somewhere that I will post so we can all have it. We can get several out of one sheet of CS and they can be really fun!

Thanks, Shelley, for getting this posted. I'm excited about getting to see everybody again and meeting the girls that missed out on our last get together. I've never done the ATC's, either, but I'm excited about trying them out. I have bought another 3 eight foot tables to add to the Stampin' Palace and need to get another one this weekend. We have plenty of room to spread out and work on whatever it is that you bring with you.

I will definitely know by the beginning of September if I'll be able to do this. I sure hope so but a lot is going to depend on where we're living at the time (if we're still up near St. Louis it'll depend on my husbands work schedule). Hope I'll see y'all then.

Cool! I'll pencil this in, but right now can't say if I can make it or not. DH got a second job working evenings and weekends, which makes it a bit harder to plan things. I'll keep you posted!\

We drove through Jacksonville the other night headed for vacation. It's not too far from me at all! My dh & boys were talking about going to Jacksonville with me & then they could go have fun until I'm ready. They were even more eager when they saw the Chuck E Cheese! :lol:

Had cereal here....does not last long!

The last 2 wks of Sept. and the first 2 weeks of Oct. are full of bdays for us so there's no gettin' around it. In fact we have 3 on Oct. 3!!

Hey! I forgot to post this news here, but...
My son Ethan lost his first tooth on Tuesday!! I was at work when it happened but DH was home when it came out. He was SO excited about getting $ from the tooth fairy that he didn't go to sleep until around 11. So the tooth fairy had to wait until early the next morning to visit. Now we are waiting for Zach's to come out, too, which should be any day.

Well shucks!
I saw your gathering in the list of SCS parties and thought, "Maybe it's not that far to Mamou, LA and I could visit my sis." Well shucks!
Your gathering is on the very same day as our Shoebox Swap up here in the Washington State. And google tells me that it's 404 miles from Jacksonville to Mamou.
I need someone in Eunice or Opelousas, LA to throw a party so that when I visit my sis we could both go. I need to get her addicted to rubber too!

My dad lives just about 20 minutes north of Jacksonville. He would love for me to come to your event but then he'd want me to spend the time with him. So I guess since I'm in Dallas I better stick to the Texas gatherings!!! Hope y'all have a blast!
