This week for the Way's to Use it Challenge, don't get lax and forget to wax! ;) No I don't mean wax your legs, wax your eyebrows and everything in between....hope I'm allowed to say that here! :o I'm taking about using wax in your papercrafting creations! Now don't have a fit...there are lots of things you can do with wax if you just stop and think. What about crayon resist, waxed paper resist, candles...and I know there are more ideas out there! I can't wait to see what you all come up with. I'm so excited this idea popped into my head. I was seriously scratching it trying to come up with an idea that inspired me. With 5 kids in the house and so much going on I am a little burned out to say the least! Soooo....I'm hoping this challenge will inspire you as it did me to come up with something new or something you haven't tried in a while. And so, enough waxing eloquent...sorry I couldn't resist, I am in SUCH a bizarre mood this morning LOL...get to work and show me your ideas!
Please remember to put WT124 in your keywords section and post a link back here so that we can all see your ideas! If you wish to link a previously made project, please limit it to one and make sure you create a new project as well.
Location: My very hot stamp room, in Phoenix! It's a dry heat.

I enjoy crayon resist and wax resist, but haven't done them in a while. Now to see if I can actually find that white crayon. Hmmmm, where would it be hiding?
Woohoo, can't wait to play. I"m going to meet Jen who has a card ministry for soldiers, and give her stuff for her ministry. Then I can play after that. Love to see the silly moods you can be in Julia....made me laugh this morning! LOL

Hi, everyone! Wow, Julia! Great Challenge. Markie's kinda miffed since I had to use his brand new SCHOOL crayons for this project! LOL! I had to promise to go get another box today...Kids! :0)
I have a workshop tomorrow night and haven't prepared a doorprize or hostess appreciation gift...hmmmmm... me thinks I see candles coming there way! LOL! Thanks for the great challenge, Julia. I will see what I can come up with!

OK, I know you rejected Mothermark's idea. I hope mine passes muster. I used the waxy side of freezer paper, to adhere to the single layer of a paper napkin. I think I am going to start saving special napkins instead of using them to wipe my fingers!
I tried to combine this with Julia's sketch for the Dirty Girl challenge, but struggled a bit - my main image was too large. I should have gone back to plan B, turning it 90 degrees. Oh, well.
