Mine just arrived - woohoo!! However, I admit I did take a quick peek online - I'm still working my way through last month's techniques. I got a 'glitter ridges' card in the swap and it was so beautiful, I just had to try it - now I'm totally hooked. It looks so beautiful - but doesn't really show up well when scanned. Also I now have glitter everywhere!!
THANK YOU PAT!!!
Got mine today too! Double WOW!!! Cant wait to try some new things tomorrow. I also got the notice that I am an "ultimate Subscriber" which is cool, dont have to hunt down all those passwords. One thing I've been thinking about is making a master list of all the techniques so at a glance I know which newsletter they are in. Now I just keep the newletters in a binder.

Me too, but I didn't get the info to do that yet. Great idea on the master techniques list. Share if you care to.

Do you get the paper copy or paper copy and CD? Which would you recommend?
Thanks!
I started out with just the paper copies and then was looking for a specific technique. It was in an old issue which I couldn't access because you had to have the right password, so I went ahead and ordered the rest of the issues - 2 CD's and 2 additional paper issues. Look at the link list on here if you can access it, and you'll see how much information is jammed into these issues. They are the greatest. I think they are all worth the money.

Glad you like TJ! I have a vested interest in the newsletter, LOL! Even gladder that Liz likes the Glitter Ridges technique...that's one of mine!
It's my goal to get a technique in every issue this year! I made the front page on this one, so I'm feeling like I'm on..."the cover of the Rollin' Stone!"

I love your front page technique with the pastels. I have an aquapainter, but have been afraid to try it out, but now I HAVE to get it out and use it to try this. It's so beautiful. I love TJ.

Dont worry about it!! Jan is "famous", Im not! Out of how many thousands of names on this site you cant be expected to memorize mine! Anyway, Kristin isnt exactly an unusual name, lol!!
Glad you like the technique though...try it with 1/2" strips, it looks even better!!
I was just looking on that link in someone's signature on here. It's that good, huh?
Yes, and double Yes!! I signed up in February, got the back CD's and am virtually on technique overload. If you decide to sign up, mention the name of the first person where you found the link and they will get a $1 credit towards their subscription. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember who I saw it from (on SCS) and couldn't reward them!!
My DH always knows where to find me when the laundry isn't done and dinner is late.........the stamp room!!!
It's fun to see some of the avatars of TJers so when I get the e-mails I "know" a face to attach to the names. I hope that more of you post so we can see your avatars!!

I also got mine Tuesday but had already gone online and tried the pastel pigments and the "test picture" came out so well, I used it in a card and sent it off!
It was wonderfully easy, and I had everything I needed already.
My paperwork is winging its way cross country to Pat, so that I'll be an ultimate subscriber too!
I had an index going of my own til last fall, so was a few months behind when Pat got hers up and running. Yay! Thanks!!

The newsletters just keep getting better and better. I have every issue, plus both CD's, and my subscription runs through 2006!
I'll be meeting the Junkie Queen (Pat) on Saturday at a stamp festival in MA. I met her briefly at a LSS more than a year ago, and it will be nice to meet her again. We actually don't live far from each other.

Lucky you! I just signed up yesterday to extend my subscription from 12/05 through 12/06 so I could be an Ultimate Junkie also. You wonder how they can outso themselves so much time after time. It's kind of like our DD's. Always something new and exciting. I can't wait to try the web embossing.
