Color Combo Challenge #12
Mamak charged me with this challenge while she is gone. I have to go back and make sure this isn't one that has been done before....but if it hasn't, here it is: ruby red and bordering blue!!
Inspired by:
Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I cannot wait to put the new colors in the challenge, but MamaK said that would be mean to people that don't have them yet so I'll wait!
Have fun! I will make my card shortly!
Don't forget to put CC12!

Thanks for posting so early, only half of my kids are awake so I may at least get to have some ideas going before the other one gets up! Good choice of colors!

Woo Hoo! Thanks for getting this out so early! I woke up about a half hour ago just dying to try something new! I'm going to hope I have some Ruby Red in my stash somewhere......

Okay, here is my entry, and I realize it looks a lot like the inspiration card, I really tried hard not to copy. I hope your day brightens up Emily!

I'm honored!!
Gosh, Emily! I feel so honored that you chose my card as the inspiration for the color challenge.
Of course, as I mentioned in the comments on my card, I CASEd the layout idea from others, so I'm more than happy to share the honors with them. Hope everyone has fun with these colors - I really think they look great together and I'm sure I'll be saving some of them for later CASEing. LOL!
happy stampin'

Okay here is try two. Not liking this much either though. I think it was a waste to make myself stamp today. These kids have just worn me out!

This one is really pushing it and to top it all I have to post after Emily.
Again, I had no cardstock in these colors. I inked the cardstock with plastic wrap. It really looks better than it scanned.
Still pending

You have very good reason to be tired, today. I'll be looking tomorrow after work. I'm sure it's pretty.

Hello... I just love these challenges. This week I have done the color challenge with the card sketch challenge in one card. This is the first time I've tried the sketch challenge. I also just bought a crimper, so I used that. I couldn't get to sleep last night and the hubby said... "just think of a card you can make tomorrow". So I was thinking about the color combo and couldn't think of anything until I saw the sketch challenge design. I would like to thank everyone for the wonderful amazing cards. They are very inspiring.
Here is a link to my card...

Here's one more. I liked it when I made it, but now I'm thinking maybe the blue isn't working...maybe I'll redo it.

Amazingly enough, I have no bordering blue. Imagine that. Great combo though. Never would have thought of it.

Played a bit tonight while listening to the Eagles concert on TV. Probably would have gotten a lot more done had I not been singing along. ;)
