There's a lovely poem called 'walk with me daddy' that I did on a layout of my son and hubbie - I have written it here for you - as far as I am aware the author is unknown, so please correct me if I am wrong!
Walk alongside me, Daddy
and hold my little hand.
I have so many things to learn
that I don’t yet understand.
Teach me things to keep me safe
from dangers everyday.
Show me how to do my best
at home, at school, at play.
Every child needs a gentle hand
to guide them as they grow.
So walk alongside me, Daddy.
We have a long way to go.
Awesome poem! I just took a snap shot of my son and husband from behind. They were sitting in front of a pond at the park. I think I'm going to blow it up and frame and mat it w/this poem for a Christmas present!

The poem was written by Helen Bush.
Here is a scrapbooking page that notes the author. http://www.swisscolony.com/Other-Fun...-Me-Daddy-.pro
I did find one other website with the acknowledgement, but I forgot to keep the address.
To find authors, it usually only takes a few minutes of Googling.
I think it's a great poem for the type of photo you are describing!
