SCS published in Take Ten III - Roll Call
Well, I have my Take Ten III magazine and want to see all of the cards that have been made by SCS members. But, I'm so used to seeing the Usernames that I don't really know any real names. If you have been published in the TERRIFIC magazine could you post with your name? If you know the page number that would help too, but at least a name would be wonderful!
Thanks!
Jodi

Julie Ebersole (aka JulieHRR) here.
I have no idea what pages I'm on as I haven't seen the issue yet--someone emailed to tell me they spotted at least 3 of my creations that were lucky enough to grace the pages...
My complimentary copy has not yet arrived (and could be 2-3 weeks more from now to arrive according to Stampington) and I live on an island ...'twill be an eternity before any copies of it, if at all, ever arrive at a retail location around here ...sigh ... so I sit and wait ...sighing heavily ...
All I can say, is for the wait, it better be a whiz bang publication from cover to cover!!!!
Can anybody at least say if they like it as much as Vol. I of same name?

I think it's grand, only problem is there isn' as much detail in the explanations as we get on SCS!
Making a quick pass--I spotted Julie Ebersole on:
Page 8-Celebrate in Style
Page 23-Little Something
Can't find the 3rd, but I'm LBAK. (My 8 yo is beading at my elbow and won't stop talking...)
Congratulations!

Since I am relatively new to SCS, you probably won't recongnize my name - YET! I have two cards in Take 10 III pg.111 (Sitting, thinking of you) and pg.137 (Thanks to You).
It is great to see your own cards in print!! I have had cards in all three take 10 issues! I haven't gotten around to posting on SCS yet, but I'm working on it!
I don't want to sound like I'm bragging, but I know you all understand the feeling. Anyway, I did the "Happy Dance" when I received this issue.

Being published
I am not inthe publication but I did turn in a couple of submissions recently. How do you know if you are being published in hteir mag? Do they send you a note? Or do you have to look for your card in their mag every time it comes out?
TIA,
MrsDiffey

Wow! SCS has a lot of talented ladies! To have so many cards in one magazine is a great honor for everyone! Congratulations to you all!
Where can I find a copy of this magazine?? I've never heard of it before. Do they have a website where I can order direct?? Does anyone have that info?
Congrats again ladies, you're all awesome, Jennifer

After this thread was started, I went through the book again and Julie's third card is on page 87.
Sharon, I didn't find yours on the pages you mentioned but on pages 20 and 131.
Congratulations to everyone who made it. Makes me more determined next time to get one in.

I have heard that I'm on page 38, although I haven't seen the book yet. I'm pumped, though, since I love the publication and I finally got off my butt to submit something! Talk about incentive to submit more! I'm really doing the happy dance, since this is my first time being published!!!!

ps... I heard from my lss that the Vol.III is really backordered. Does that mean my complimentary issue is backordered too? Or would they honor those first???

Ladies,
Thank you for your responses. It has been so much fun seeing all of your gorgeous creations! It kind of makes me fluff up my feathers with pride that I actually "know" some ladies that made some of these great cards!!

Mary Haugen - I think this is not the first time you've been published because I'm sure I've seen your name before. In fact, there have been times when I've wondered why it sounds familiar. So, please 'fess up - I'm pretty sure I've seen your name in multiple editions of Stampers' Sampler. Are you listed on some of those Achievement Awards top 100 that SU! puts in the Stampin' Success? or maybe you were featured in SS one month????

Becky forgot to mention that p. 108 is all her!! She's famous and we'll all be able to say we knew her when...
I got the 2nd to last copy of Take Ten in the store (Make an Impression, Issaquah, WA) and as soon as I got home I flipped through just looking for names - it's so great to see so many that I recognize. Now, I have to go back and actually look at the cards.
