Red face Umm... HI. Is this where Stamp-anon meets?

Stamp-aholics Anyonymous.... my therapist told me to come here.

What do you suppose he's worrried about?

My Stapmin' spotted hands, Stampin Write marked lips, and crazed look in my eyes at the mention of Sell-A-Bration? Could be!!!

Have I found the right place? This is SplitCoastStampers not Stamp-Anon? Can I stay anyway?

By the look of your ink stained hands and that Idea Book glued to your forehead... I'D SAY THIS IS MY KIND OF PLACE!

LOL! Seriously, I'm a SAHM with a preK DS and preToddler DD. I am a displaced texan living on the west coast. As you can tell, I can be a bit silly. My fam say I'm just plain "stamp happy".

I have used stamps belong to other people many, many times prior to my SU! encounter and I have been making homecards for years.I have been to only 2 workshops and already I'm an addict!!

I am now thinking about making it a paying hobby. I want to be a Demo but need info regarding SU! overseas.

I would love to meet and greet fellow stampers. And would love to read all the tips and tricks you have to share. I especially am eager to hear from Demos stationed overseas.

TY for having me & thnx for a super site!

Hi ! Well the first step is admitting you have a problem!

You are on the west coast now & are headed overseas, If I understood right. Where will you be going?

It's not as much a problem to me as it is to my DH's paycheck ;). We are Korea bound.

WOW - that should be really interesting!!

Yeah - stamping does make a dent in the finances doesn't it? Long, long ago I tried to justify the expense by telling myself I would never have to buy cards and wrapping paper again.

I *was* right, sorta. Except that what I have spent on stamps and stamping supplies over the years has cost about 1000% more than what I would have spent on cards & giftwrap during my entire lifetime! It's cheaper than therapy though, and stamping does wonders for my stress!!

Anyway, hi & welcome. I'm not a demonstrator or overseas, I just thought I would be the first to say hello since I'm online. You're in the right place.

Welcome welcome welcome! Have fun!

There are a few demo's stationed overseas, BUT a lot of us don't make it to the general discussion forum too often, so it may take a little time for you to get an answer!

Enjoy!

Too funny, MC! Glad you found the meeting place of us addicts!

Can't answer your questions about overseas but wanted to say how delightful your post was. Sounds to me like you'll be a SU demo soon - just have to work out the details, huh?
You might call SU at 1-800-STAMPUP and see about the details for being an overseas demo.
Happy stamping, fellow nor'wester.

Dear McStamp Happy,
Welcome to you from SE Kansas--where Sunflowers rule!
I don't know much about Korea, but I've made some connections in Taiwan--and they can't get enough of SU! there.
GO FOR IT--it's a wide open market1
God bless you,

Thanks for the heads up, Jen. I have yet to navigate around the forum. I'll learn to venture out of Ganeral discussion slowly. *hopefully*

Welcome! You will love this place. I can't get enough of it! Nice to meet you and just jump right in to the forums. That is the best way to meet people. As you can see that is what I did. I have been an SCS member since April of this year and I am already at over 1,000 posts. I guess I need to get a life because I talk to much. But with DH gone and DD at her dads house it is just me and the dog. So what is taking you all the way to Korea? Is your DH military? There are lots of us who are military wives and even some who are in the military themselves. Anyhow, Enjoy!

Hey I just saw that you are a new demo! That's great! I am assuming you are a SU! demo. If so have you joined the SU demo forums? If not just pm Britta (camsmom). She will get you going. There is some great info on the demo forum and wonderful support.

Thanks for the welcome! It's great you have your 4legged child and SCS to keep you busy during DH's deployment. Best wishes to you both.

I'm waiting on my approval to join the Demo forum. I'll be seeing you there. With my first time living overseas and becoming new to SU! Demo... I'm gonna need all the support that I can find!

Howdy from Texas and welcome to SCS! I know that you will love this place! Congratulations on becoming a SU! demonstrator. Now you can help spread the addiction to ink pads, paper and ink.
