Creating embossed borders for Marvy Uchida Scalloped Punches
I have discovered a way to make an embossed border for your Scalloped punches. For example: Punch out a scalloped oval shape with the giga punch. Then punch out a white cardstock shape with a mega scalloped oval. Place the mega oval on the front of your giga shape and lay it on your light table (or up on a window) and emboss around it. This gives you a nice scalloped border like the new Spellbinders nestablilities. If you want the straighter line, use your plain Marvy punches in the same shape.
Thank you! This is a great tip and your instructions are perfect!

Thank you for your kiind responses. I was a little nervous about posting something on the forum as I have never done it before. I have learned so much from other people's posts. I was hoping it wasn't a silly idea and that I had explained it clearly.
I LOVE the idea of the Spellbinders Nestabilities, but I had already invested in many of the Marvy punches and couldn't account for purchasing the Nestabilities too at this time.
Ditto about the Nestabilities. Great concept but the punches are already purchased. Be sure to post a design with your new found embossing discovery! Thanks again for sharing.
