Hi
My name is Fiona and I've just joined from the UK. A friend told me about the site and it looks great. Is there anyone from Wisconsin on the board as my other(better) half is a great Packers fan!

Hi, Fiona!! We're glad to have you. Your dh is a cheese head?? I hope he doesn't walk around UK with a "cheese head" hat on, though!!! ;)
I absolutely love your name...I liked it long before the Shrek movies. Are you a princess? :p

Thanks so much for the welcome. Hubby does have a cheese head! He can only wear it indoors though as no-one else understands him!! He has just started officiating at British American Football games! He's so happy - it means I have more time for crafting and he can't moan at me!
Look forward to talking to you all on the boards - I'm also on AIM but a real novice - be gentle with me!!
I'm from Wisconsin, but NOT a packer fan! (I spend too much time crafting!!!) I have a girlfriend who used to live in Oxford, but she is back in the States now! I went over to visit a few years ago, and fell in love with Bath! It is sooooo beautiful! It was a memorable month of travel! I hope to visit again some day!
Welcome to Split Coast!
Jane

I have been stamping now for 19 yrs and I'm married to a wonderful guy who supports my addiction..."Stamping" We have two sons and have been married for 21 years,22 years coming in May.
Just wanted to post and say Hello.
Stamping Hugs

My husband is from State College! His father was the Budget Director for the university, and his mom worked with the Artists Series! It is a beautiful state! I'm originally from NY! The internet really makes it a small world, afterall!
Fiona,
No, I never made it to Kent! We were planning on going to Dover, but we just ran out of time! And to think, I was over there for almost a month! Maybe my next trip! For such a small country, there is soooooo much to see! My husband also wants to make it up to Scotland on our next trip! We can dream, can't we!!!

Hi Fiona, Robin & Natty,
It's so nice to have some new stamping sistas!!!! I love the UK!!!! My DH and I want to visit soon. My 16 year old DD wants to hang out in Scotland until she perfects her scottish brogue.
Anyway, have a great day all...
Welcome hugs, Kim
Hi Fiona,
Welcome to your newest addiction...ever since I found SCS my insomnia has been replaced with lots of laughter, creative inspiration and a warm feeling of 'meeting' people that love to stamp (my sisters do not understand...and will not even attempt to).
Greetings from another Canadian and maybe one day I will take you up on your offer of being a personal tour guide of Kent.
Jeannie

My grandparents lived in Bedhampton - we used to visit every summer. I was always slightly disappointed because, although technically it's the seaside - the beach was pebbles not sand. :(
Anyway, welcome Fiona - and if you're as SU obsessed as the rest of the UK SCSers, I'm sure you'll be happy to click the link below to join our campaign!
I'm in Wisconsin and enough of a Packer fan to have fun at Packer parties. My DS has a cheesehead, so I understand the whole cheesehead thing!
Welcome, as others have said, to your new addiction. You won't be stamping anymore after you've been on here a while (because you won't be able to get yourself away from this place!).
Hi, Fi! I knew you could get your feet wet in a thread. Someone woke this up yesterday, so you're in the new posts again. Looks like there are quite a few of you in the UK! You could have a stamp camp! Have a good weekend!
