Default question for tac

Just wondering what is the demo discount and if you only plan to be a hobby demo how do they handle sales tax? Thanks, Kathy

I'm not a demo yet, but I believe it's the same as many other DS companies. You would retain your 20% off the top. You keep 20% of the subtotal before shipping and tax. By law you have to collect the shipping and tax, so the company must receive that.

Ex:
$100 in products (your 20% comes off that)
$10 shipping
$4.79 tax
$114.79 is the total, so take your $20 away from that and the rest, $94.79, would be due to SU!

Default That's not quite right...

Actually TAC sends you a commission check...you send in the entire amount due: your total order, then add 10% for shipping and on that total you charge tax for the area that the order will be delivered to.

TAC offers 25% commission by the way and has a demo discount that is higher than that...

Hope this helps...

Personal Orders are a 30% discount (you can't take advantage of any freebies w/ that though like the Gift W/ Purchase Stamps) and the Customer Orders are 25%. You do get a 40% off coupon that is good for Unmounted Stamps only when you first sign up. I believe you might also get one for your birthday.
