Am I the only one who loves this catty?
Ok, I have to admit, there are a few sets that I don't "get" either, but that has been the case with every catty. I LOVE this new catty, love all the samples color combos etc. I can't wait for everyone to get the new sets in so I can see more gorgeous samples!!!

You're definitely not the only one. I love it too! The samples are so beautiful and I love the way Su put together the new collections. The designer papers, simply scrapping kits, the pretties kit, new chipboard and the new ribbons -- all are absolutely fantastic!
I don't love every new stamp set but I realize that others will like the things that I may not and, besides, there will be a new mini soon and a whole new big book in 6 months with even more new stuff! For now, there is plenty in the new catalog to keep me buying through December!

I think the new catty is pretty awesome too. I think it is just different from our expectations because of the transition to two catties per year, so this one seems pretty fall-heavy, and the next one I'm sure will seem spring-heavy. We are so used to getting a year at once. But I love this catty so much I think I will have to invest in a hard copy, something I've never felt the desire to do before!

You're not the only one! I love the new In Colors, so many of the designer papers, the rhinestone brads, the yummy new ribbons, and the new punches. And that's not even the stamps!
I love the Hostess Set selection. My favorites are So Many Sayings, Party Punch, In the Spotlight, and Garden Silhouettes and Vases in Vogue (LOVE those last two!!). As for the main catty stamp sets, I'm sure I'll be getting Define Your Life, Stem Sayings, Batty for You, Big on Christmas, Think Happy Thoughts, and all of the Baroque Motif stuff! I also really like All in the Family -- yes they're cutesy, but in such a good cutesy way! And for some odd reason I'm drawn to the Wanted and Bronc Buster (BoHo West style). It's so not me!
Also, I'm sure once the gallery starts filling up, there will be a ton more that I want.

Not in love, but definitely like the colors and samples. Very disappointed with the stamp sets. Maybe it was just too much anticipation on my part.

I really love the new catty too! Like the others before me have said, I may not like every set, but there is PLENTY to get me through to December and then some!

Well said Jessica, it's a rounded catty. While it *can't* please everyone, I am really lovin' it! All the great new accessories, the fab new ribbons, the great lower priced sports sets, awesome new trend watch section, and there is just too much to keep listing!
I have a wish list as long as my arm!

The cover is beautiful.... my favorite one yet.
I think the samples are the best yet of any catalog, too.
I'm actually glad I don't LOVE alot of the stamp sets (although there are quite a few) - I have so many already, and I love so many of the accessories that my wish list is $600!
Perfect amount to meet my 2 quarterly minimums before the next catty comes out!

I've only seen it online and I already LOVE IT!!! My hubby's already been warned that he's in big trouble! To me there is a perfect balance of the cutesy and classy styles that I love. Can't wait to get my paws on some of that rubbah!!!

I've been using SU pretty much exclusively since 1998, and this is easily one of the best catty's I've seen in terms of how well it accomodates my personal tastes ;) ! You're definitely not alone!

Just like any catalog, there are sets that I *must* have, and others that I can simply overlook. I'm not complaining though about the sets that aren't my style. I think SU tries very hard to provide something for everyone! I loved this catty and have looked through it numerous times, each time adding something more to my wish list...and taking some things off already too.

I'm with you! Although I'm not into the whole doodle trend (that doodle monkey from Zoofari seriously creeps me out!), overall I'm very pleased with the new catty. I plan on getting al the in colors this time, they are just so beautiful! And the new papers and ribbons and chipboard....yummy!

I love this one, too! Great accessories! At first I didn't think I liked many of the stamps, but when I started tagging them for my wish list, I couldn't believe how many I actually wanted. You are not alone!

I think they have gone more "cutsy" and away from timeless and elegant.
For me personally I prefer the elegant side of things.
I like that there are more scrapbooking examples throughout the catty and I like the tips that are throughout it.
I only found three sets that were an absolute must have though.
and the other thing I realized is that with the "group" that I am in, that I would not even have a chance at any of the hostess stuff in this catty, as my turn will not come till the next one is out.

I'm impressed with the catalog. I think SU did an excellent job with the design and layout of this one. I like the little "extras" like the icons in the cardstock/ink grid and the accessories footnotes throughout the catalog.
The samples are much more interesting, complex, and diverse than in previous years. The product selection is very nice even though I'm not 100% in love with the strong emphasis on some of the stamp styles. I'd like to see more diversity in the styles offered, but overall, it's a good catalog.

I love it too! I haven't seen much posted about the samples but I think they're gorgeous. Gone are the very simple simple samples they used to have.
I think the samples & colors are awesome, I love the ribbon & textured CS & love many many of the stamps of course!

The only one? Naaaah.
I like it. As far as catalogs go, it's the most visually appealing catalog I've ever seen SU! produce!
As far as stamp styles go, sure, there are a few that make me scratch my head, but, for the most part, my wish list is actually growing. ;)
.........Oh no!

I like the layout of the catalogue, though it took a bit to get used to it, and generally like the contents. I can't say LOVE it but I'm not disappointed either. Since I have a wish list of almost $400 without stamps, I'd say it's fairly appealing! :-)

I love it too. I think it is a well laid out catalog, the best yet. I love the new accessories strip along the bottom and the new beginner sets in the front. The new ribbons are to die for and so are many of the patterned papers. For me my feelings on the stamps are mixed, lots of new wheels that I want, and lots of sentiment/word stamps. A little disappointed that there aren't many florals that wow me especially as so many good ones retired but this is a Fall/Winter catty so I am hoping for some new ones in the Spring/Summer. Plus it will give me some time to stock up on some of the other stuff.

I like it a lot. I love the new papers, many cute stamp sets, and great ribbon. And lots of the punches I've been putting off are making it on to my wish list now too! (I have never had an SU catalog that I didn't love.)
Great job SU!
Hugs,
Gina K.

Whether we love it, like it, hate it, or feel something in between, we have to remember this is a BIG change for us. When I first looked at it, I kept thinking something was missing; is this all there is? I love a LOT of the catalog, but I kept thinking that something was missing. Finally. it dawned on me -- something is missing -- another six months, seasons, holiday, of stamps, accessories and fabulous designs. This isn't all there is -- it is just the beginning!

I'm very envious of how you have all got your new catalogues as the online catty doesn't do it justice I'm sure. Maybe when SU eventually come over here to the UK we can get a copy and then we can all look and drool ;)

Well, considering that my wish list is up over $700, its safe to say that I love it too. You have to realize that not eveyone will be 100% pleased with it and that some people just can't do anything but nitpick and complain about everything. Its easy to complain from behind a computer!

New Catty fan here! It's very user friendly with the accessory cross references. The sample cards are terrific and there are plenty of new stamp sets - everyone should at least find one or two that appeal to them, come on now!!! I like that the grossgrain ribbon names now match SU colors. The new basic gray is going to be a great neutral to work with, and the "in colors" compliment so many of the original SU colors - they will really increase color combinations! There are great DP packs too! I say "GREAT JOB" to SU!!!
