Hi there,
I wanted to intro myself but decided to start a new topic thread since the other was soooo long...
I live in Renton, WA. I went to CWU in Ellensburg... noticed a few Wildcat intros! I was a teacher before I became a SAHM to 2 great boys now
ages 5 and nearly 3. I was an addicted scrapbooker who went to a Stamp Camp and loved stamping. One of my friends (yes, you Jodi, I know you are reading this!) told me about the Technique Junkies Newsletter and which led to stamping Yahoo groups and this site and tons of fun! Now I am a certified "scramping addict", a moderator on a stamping scrapbookers group, and just love it. I am married to a wonderful guy who puts up with all my stamping/scrapping purchases because he's into cycling which costs a lot more! Love this site and promise to do some uploading soon. Anita
P.S, Keep those intros coming - they are fun to read!
Hi, I am Rebecca Goeres, from Elma, Washington. Elma is about 30 miles west of Olympia. We are farmers in the Chehalis Valley. I have two daughters, 32 and 34 and one awesome granddaughter, Rikki who is 5. I have been stamping about 3 years and am totally addicted. I never had stamped before going to a friend's daughter debut as a SU demo. Told her to sign me up immediately. My husband goes hunting all over the states so stamping is my "hunting" hobby. He can't complain about $$$ since his little hobby is very expensive. I do stamp camps from my home. I recently tried to kill a bee and ended up on the floor with a broken collar bone....I am trying to perfect stamping with my left hand! It's a challenge but I will succeed. I love the endless ideas of stamping and can't imagine my life without it. I love this site and can't let a day pass that I'm not on it several times. I awake in the night in pain and this site soothes me. The energy on this site is awesome. Everyone loves to share so much!! Happy stamping, Rebecca
Hello! My name is Amy Mason, I live in Bellevue by way of Aberdeen, WA. I just signed up as a demo for the discount, this site has gotten me completely addicted! My husband and I now spend almost NO time together anymore. I used to bug him to get off the computer, now I am on the one in the other room! I love this site. I just need to get off it and stamp something...
Julie Ebersole, Coupeville, WA, on incredibly scenic Whidbey Island, home of the world-reknowned Deception Pass Bridge.
Stamper 11 years, demo'r for SU! for 7. Discovered stamping because of my dear cousin who always made the most charming cards for my family for whatever the occasion. She became a demo'r one year after watching me do it! LOL!
Wife to a ms/hs vice principal, former high school spanish teacher, now SAHM; mother of 15 yr. old daughter and 8 yr. old son.
So nice to be able to ID some area/local stampers!

Hi, My name is Cindy Hill (hense the name Chill). I live in Auburn (trying to move to the I-90 corridor for commuting purposes and schools but it's so darn expensive!) and I love stamping! I started 15 years ago when in college and embossed my Christmas cards over a toaster oven, since I couldn't afford a heat gun. I've been a demonstrator for 5 years.
I have a daughter who will be 7 in July and we'll be celebrating that at DisneyWorld before convention. I can't wait....I'll have 2 weeks of vacation....basically unheard of for me! Woohoo!
Hi, my name is Sandy Hill (no relation to Cindy I don't think). I live in Spokane, WA and have been here for 6.5 years. I lived in Dallas, TX for 20 years and worked for Southwest Airlines 13 of those years. I married and moved to Spokane where I now work for an accounting firm. I started stamping three years ago and absolutely love it. In fact, I am addicted to it, especially now that I have found this site. I am not a demo, but buy 99.9% of my products through SU. They are the best and so are all of you here on this site. I just want to say thank you to everyone on this site who lists their cards. These are the most beautiful and creative cards I have ever seen. As a result, this will cause me to buy a lot more stamps. A big thanks to Beate who listed the how to techniques. This makes it so much easier. Hopefully, one day I will be just a creative on my own.
Hi, I'm Jodi (yes, cardsbyanita's Jodi). Was introduced to stamping along with Anita by a mutual friend who got us all excited, and then up and moved to Calgary. The nerve! I've lived in the Issaquah, WA area for about 10 years (TOO close to Make an Impression!), but grew up in Southern California. I also have 2 boys 4 & 6. I got a message from an e-buddy who said a friend told her that most stampers have boys and her theory is that it is our way of getting away from the dinos, bugs, trucks, etc. Not a demo, I have no imagination, but I can CASE very well.
I'm Kathy Logan and I just recently moved to the Bothell/Mill Creek area. I've been stamping for 8+ years now, and even owned an on-line rubber stamp "store" for a couple of years. My husband and I have been married for 11 years, and we have four children (10, 6, & 3 yr. old girls, and a 5 yr. old boy). I became a SU demonstrator two years ago "for the discount". Out of all the different lists I've participated in over the years, this is my favorite!
I am Kirsten. I live in Milton Washington with my hubby and 3 daughters. Ages 4, 2, and 6 months. I am a SAHM and have been a SU demo for just over a year now. And I love it! It is what keeps me sane! It's nice to know there are others out there like me. Stampaholics!
Hi, I'm Betsy and I'm an alcoholic, er, stamp addict! I also live in Spokane (Hi, Sandy!! whereabouts are you?) although I grew up in Bellevue. I am a SAHM with a husband, Tim, and 12 y.o. son DJ.
Have stamped for many years now, about 8 I guess. The very first thing I stamped was a birthday party invite for my son's 4th birthday, using an SU set! And the rest, as they say, is history!
I am enjoying this site so much and visit several times daily to see what's new. Nice to meet everybody!
I guess I better introduce myself formally since I've been stalking this site for some time now. I'm Janice and I'm a stampaholic. I live in the Mill Creek,WA area and have been a demonstrator for 1 year. I absolutely love this site because of all the creative, friendly people and their ideas. I visit at least 5 times a day (probably more like 10+ but who's counting). It's so addicting!!
I have a 4 year old son, Drew. He too LOVES to stamp and has his own version of stamp camps. He really is quite talented and creative. And I have a wonderful supportive husband (12 years and going strong) who enjoys my hobby/addiction too because I'm so passionate about it. He helps me run the business end of things and will sometimes comment on card samples I see on this site. Today he saw the Travel Post samples (the collage one and the distressed one) and "told" me to buy the set ASAP (not that I needed much encouragement).
Thanks to all of you, I feel like one big happy stampin' family!!
My name is Donna and I live in Marysville, Washington. This is my 5th year as a SU demo and am looking forward to walking across stage and getting my diamond pin this year in Orlando in July!
I have a group opf stampers (mostly all SU demos) who meet in Lynnwood off 164th twice a month. We have a lot of fun. I am fairly new to this site but love what I see so far.
Hi, I'm Laurie and live in Central Washington. I have an almost 10 year old girl, Denali and a 6 1/2 year old boy, Dawson. I am not a demo but am addicted to stamping! I am a SAHM but may have to go to work at least part-time when my youngest starts 1st grade next year (to support my stamping addiction, at least!) If any of you are ever over here, give me a call! The weather is great here! Have a great weekend!

Hi,
Another Washington stamper here. I'm Sharon and live in Bellevue with my hubby and two boys who are 5 & 7. I've been stamping for amost 5 years and signed up to be a demo last August to support my addiction. Being a demo is so much fun!
My name is Kathy Hill and I live in Toledo, WA with my husband of 18 years, Tom - about 40 miles south of Olympia. I've been a demo since Jan. 2003 and I love it!. I have a great excuse to make samples constantly and try to buy everything stampin'.
I'm a music specialist, reading coordinator and tech assistant at our rural elementary school of 400 students. I'm a church choir director and pianist. I've lived in Toledo for 33 years (yikes) by way of Ridgefield, WA. My son and his wife live in Kent (now Auburn) and my daughter and her husband live in Bothell (bothell named for his grandmother). No grandkids yet (now one - Marley, 7 months old), but lots of grandpets. Anyhoooo, I love stamping and sharing and this site is just plain awesome. Stamp on.......
Kathy
Hi fellow stampers! You are all talking about WA state and I think I am pretty close too! I live in Hillsboro OR now (right outside of Portland). I just moved out here with my husband last month and we are here for a year. I dont know what I would do without my stamping, it definitely keeps me sane! Hoping to meet some people in the area soon In addition to being a demonstrator (which I keep up back in Arizona), I am also a student at University of Phoenix. Have a great day!
Hi I'm new to the group as of this weekend and have been a SU demo for 2 weeks now.. I have been stamping for a little over year and scrapping for 7 years.. I live in South Everett near Mill Creek - have been here for almost 7 years before that born and raised in Michigan..
This was too much fun to read - somehow I missed this thread earlier. So like all you other addicts I will take my turn at a brief introduction. I am a SAHM now for the last four years. My girls are 10 and 4. I became a SU demo 8 months ago. After injuring myself and loosing my ability to exercise over two years ago I needed something to keep me sane. I went from my goal of doing an Olympic distance triathlon before turning 50 to figuring out what I could do sitting. Needless to say I fell totally in love with stamping and the people I have met. This "hobby" has given me an outlet that has kept me positive and happy.
Thanks for sharing yourself with us - Ellen Hutson (Issaquah, WA)
I'm Kerry and live in Bellingham, WA. I've been a SU demo for 2 years this time around. I was a demo for about 2.5 years, quit for a couple of years to rebalance life, and signed back up almost 2 years ago. I missed it so much and am so glad to be back! I have been stamping for about 12 years and am totally addicted. I have been married for 32 years, and have a daughter, son and daughter-in-law, and our wonderful 6 year old grandson. Between my wonderful family and all the stamping I could possibly want, what more could one ask for?
Hi, my name is Michele Larson and I too love stamping (and doing my scrapbooks). I have been stamping for 13 years and scrapbooking for 2 years now. Like everyone else it helps me keep my sanity! I live in Davenport, a little town about 40 minutes from Spokane. I have a 3-year-old daughter who will be 4 in September. I work part-time at a local hospital in the Medical Records Department, which I have been doing for the past 10 years. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we just celebrated our 9th anniversary in April. It has been so nice to read all about everyone!
Hi,
I'm a grandmother to those two boys that Sharon Graham mentioned and Sharon "made me do it" - become a Demo. My first party is scheduled for mid-June in Puyallup, where I live. She's a wonderful Demonstrator and has set the bar high for those of us who are joining her team. I am retired after working at several jobs, the last as manager of a senior center. All the more time to stamp. At least one might think so.... This site is great and you all have been so generous to share your creations and techniques and your support. It's good to be part of such a positive group. Thanks to Daven and to all who contribute. Betty
Hi everyone, my name is Melissa. DH and I have just moved back to Bellevue but think I am really closer to Issaquah. I have been scrapbooking for over 6 years and stamping for at least 3 years. I don't think I could live without scraping or stamping in my life. I am so happy I have found this site, everyone is so inspirational.

Hi ladies! My name is Melissa Richardson and I live and teach 2nd grade in Everett. I have been a demonstrator since 1997. My group was once large but has decreased dramatically due to life changes for them. I have 2 direct (hi Natalie!) and they are doing great with SU. This will be my 8th convention and I can't wait! I love this website and go to the gallery all the time for ideas. Thanks for all the great posts.
Hey there!! I decided to FINALLY post...since my upline did (Hi Melissa!!). My name is Natalie and I also live in Everett. I've been a demo since October 2003 and have LOVED it!! I check this website OFTEN (way too often)....I love all the ideas, thanks everyone!!
Ok, well I'm a Washingtonian living in Hawaii...AND nstork (Natalie) is one of my oldest and dearest friends! I was born and raised in Everett WA. My husband and I moved to Hawaii 3 years ago. I've just become an SU demo (in April) but have been stamping for about 7 years.
This site is the best! I just love it...thanks Natalie for telling me about it! Happy Stamping Everyone! Amy

We're not so very far apart. I live downtown. Can you believe it? I didn't make it to the stamp show this year. Did you? There is so much to see and do, it should be required of all stampers, especially those of us in the area!
I am Lisa Johnson.....Up in Bellingham wa. I have been stampin' for 4 years and a demo for 1......I love it! i feel like i found my calling in life! (next to the MOMMY thing!)
Mom of Alexandra(11), Hannah(9), Pepper(5), and Ella(1)
Wife to a DH who is worshiped by his girls
and owner of NOT enough stamps!
Any other people close by.........lets get together and stamp.
I am a newbie here, just signed up. My upline is Jen Stevenson, I've been looking around the site for a few days now and I love this site. I'll post about myself in a bit.
I was just reading about all of you WA gals out there. We were stationed
at McChord AFB for 4 years, we left in Aug of 2003. I absolutely LOVED WA state. It's a beautiful state. We are currently stationed in TX and I'm having a hard time adjusting still. Getting used to it, but I will be glad when the 3 years are up. It's very busy here, and touristy I think.
We lived on McChord AFB which is right inside of Lakewood, WA. I just wanted to say and say I miss it out there!
My friend went to the stamp convention down there, is that the one at the Puyallup fairgrounds? She said it was so overwhelming with all kinds of stamp booths, etc. She bought a lot, I probably would have done so also!
Welcome, scrapchic21.
Yes, the big stamp show is at the Puyallup Fair Grounds and is overwhelming. Well worth going to for there is so much to see and do.
I'm glad you liked it while you were stationed at McChord. I tried to get my brother to settle here after he retired from the AF but they had spent so many years in the Southwest that they feel more comfortable in that climate and enviornment.
Happy Stampin'. Betty
Hi, I am new here. But I have been a demo for almost 2 years. I am in Utah, but moving to Wenatchee in a couple of weeks. My husband is already there...I have two kids; Jackson is 3 and Aspen is 7 months. I love stamping and was wondering if there was anyone in the Wenatchee, East Wenatchee area. This is such a fun site!!
Another Washingtonian Splitcoaster here :::waves:::. I've stamped and scrapped for many years (over 6?) and was a SU! Demonstrator until a few months ago, but I haven't been sharing my work much lately because our scanner refuses to play nicely with my new computer. The nerve of that thing!
We just built house in Gig Harbor and moved here from the Sumner/Lake Tapps area. I was a SAHM until 6 months ago when I started a new career doing legal research from home. Our kids are 8 (DS) and 5 (DD) and just getting into scouting and soccer. They both love to stamp along side me even though Mom is really bad at sharing well ;) .
A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to meet the famous ReindeerTrout (Dawn) and I look forward to meeting other local Splitcoasters!
Reindeer Trout here. And I'm not famous. I don't know how that got started!
I'm in Port Orchard. Just moved here in March and I love it. I stated stamping the same way that Chill did... embossing Christmas cards over a lightbulb 15 years ago... musta been THE Christmas to do that! lol Didn't really do much else but collect a few stamps in the intervening years. Then about 4 years ago, I was invited to a workshop. I went only because some former coworkers were attending and I thought it would be fun to see them. Well... I'm still stamping and they are not. LOL I'm a hobby demo. I am planning my first stamp camp soon. It was postponed from last month due to a health issue. Maybe in September.
I am REALLY looking forward to the Portland Regionals and I hope to see all of you there!
