I was just wondering who is from the Kansas City area on here....I am from Blue Springs and wondered if any of you wonderful ladies lived in the KC area......
Cool!! I live in the Seattle area now but my brother lives on Blue Springs. I visit about 1-2x year. I'll have to let you know next time I'm in town
That'd be great! Maybe sometime we can do a get together with people around here. I'd love to host a stamping night or something....I just have to wait until my hubby is back from Iraq and we buy our own house.
Hey another Kansas girl here. I'm from Lawrence, KS I was born & raised there. When I got married I lived in KC, KS and my in laws are still there. We go back home often so next time I'm there I'll definitely have to give you a call.
Hey all you Kansas City gals, I don't live there, I am in Michigan but I LOVE the KANSAS CITY CHIEFS!!!!!! Can't wait for football season. Do they have any arrowhead stamps there in one of the stampin stores? LOL

While I don't live in KC anymore, I did for about 6 years. Met and married my DH there. We are despiratly missing the home aspect of it, but not missing the weather that KC gets.
You know I was kidding about the videos, right?!?!?! Well, I hope Emily did!
I will be the very best upline I can possibly be. (Is that the army theme song I hear in the background?) But who are we kidding here Kimberly, I am taking notes from Emily!!!! But you are correct that she will be an awesome demonstrator. YOu are as well! Your gallery is great and look how you are motivating all of us with challenges.
I wish you luck with your demonstratorship, I know there are lulls that you question if you should stay or not. I think you should hang in there! It is such an easy and wonderful company to work with! And thank you for your understanding and support of Emily signing up.
Hello ladies, I am at Whiteman AFB. About 15 minutes out of Warrensburg.
I love scrapbooking and making cards and sell for Stampin'Up! but have too many ladies on base to do any real business. I mainly keep myself afloat. I would love to be able to get together with other ladies around here to scrap with, I also have a couple of friends who might be interested also!

Well, I will be at Kansas City Regionals for sure!!! I am going Saturday. Of course that isn't until March....I'll let you know if we will be in the area before that!

Hi Emily! I am somewhere between Olathe and Lawrence, KS. Work in Overland Park! We should definitely do a KC SCS get together! Craft show season is coming up but it would be great to do something in the fall! I would love to help coordinate this! I hadn't seen this post before but I am glad I stumbled upon it while the gallery is down!
Here's my contribution-- My parents have lived in Olathe for 15 years, and 2 of my sisters live in Lenexa. One of those sisters used to teach at Blue Springs (LD kids in the middle school). And all 3 girls are stampers!

Haha, found this thread again. I posted a while ago when this thread was just started that I used to live in KC but was now living in Vegas. Kind of ironic that I am now back in KC. I am living now in the Overland Park area. Just wierd for me anyway.
I can't wait till regionals gets closer and we start planning our SCS get together. Though I really think it needs to be on a Saturday night so that those who are eligible to attend the Leadership training workshop can attend both.

Woohoo! I knew there was talk about it, but didn't know if it was officially decided. Can't wait.
Well, I'm not a stamper, but I grew up at Lake Lotawana; went to school in Lee's Summimt (the old ones ). I still have relatives at the lake and in Prairie Village.
I live in St. Charles right now. My DD meets in Columbia every couple of months with her cousin from Belton and they scrapbook.
It seems wierd to see all those familiar city names. :smile:
