I have been patiently waiting all week for the arrival of my catty and it never came :( So this morning, I got up early, excited for the catty to be online so I would at least have some way of looking at it, and it's not even posted yet! So much for this "everyone should have one by July 1st" business. You'd think if they can't get a copy in all demos hands they could at least post it online on time! I'm just hoping that with all this hype I won't be disappointed - oh well, maybe it will come tomorrow.
Can only ee a red x here in Ohio too. Though I am still debating if I want to look at it online or if I can wait for the catalogue party tommorrow at my demos house...
My demo is in NH, she got her cattys Thursday but had to mail mine to me since I live in NC still. I'm getting it Monday. So I went to look online, and the catalog link is to the old catalog.
What time are they supposed to post the new one today?

Okay, so I cleared all my cookies and internet files, and then got the new page. But I'm also getting the red x now where the new catalog should be. GRRRR!!!!

The red X is all I am getting here too! I live in Indiana so maybe the time zone has something to do with it which bites because my demo lives in Chicago so she is mailing me mine but as you guys know it is very hard to wait for things like this!!!!
The Catalog will be available online at noon mountain time which is SU time - last couple years i been a demo its been this way also. - Its now 720am mountain time so only a couple more hours to go... I got my snail mail one on Saturday for the demo copy. Its worth the wait the catalog is fantastic.
Thanks for the info! You'd think they wouldn't bother putting a link to the catty until they were ready to show it though.

Yep, as others have said, SU announced several months ago that it would not be available until noon MT. BTW, this time is consitent with what it has been in past years.

every year everyone complains about this issue! i think it is a testament to the popularity of SU that it means this much. I have no idea when any other stamp company releases its catty, KWIM???

I was under the impression that it was midnight Mt. time - so I apologize for my complaint. It has come to my attention that some SCS's do not agree with me creating this post and I apologize. I am just getting anxious to see the catalog and I was venting - like I have seen many other people doing on here. I did not mean to reflect any sort of negative image of SU or anything like that. I wasn't trying to say they messed up, because I know that getting catalogs out to thousands of people is no small task. It's like the poster above me said - it's like being a kid on Christmas . . . I'm just getting impatient. I apologize to anyone I might have offended - and I hope you take my "complaining" lightly and understand it's not anything deeper than that!
Thank you for reading this
Kelly
Just think at noon the web site is going to be so busy and all of us that havent gotten a comp or ordered cattys are still not going to be able to view it I bet ..... I think SU would get it after year in and year out they have problems with this same issue.
Maybe 1st class postage on the comp catty would solve alot of these issues I cant beleive that the company cant afford to send the comp catty 1st class .....
Hey Kelly, I didn't take your comments as anything but ranting - you and others are just venting - no bad reflection on SU! or SCS - we are just impatient at the end of a very long month and a long line of folks "in the know" who got cattys earlier!!! Please excuse us and take our comments with a grain of salt. Right ladies????
Did anyone else think about calling their demo right up til midnight to order anything from old catalog? I did - cheesecloth background stamp - but I didn't do it cuz I don't know if she could order it that late. Any demo on here that could answer that? Do you have an overlap time for old stuff ordered on June 30?
I don't think you have to apologize for starting a post. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and we are not all demos and may be some of us new to SU and don't know that they meant noon mountain time and it has been that way for years. Personally I learned something today. So see your post was okay!

Wow Little Sister, I'm impressed that you actually dragged your butt out of bed to see the catalog online this morning......USPS said by 3:00 Monday...have patience my love!!! I probably should have gone to the post office Thursday night and you would have received it yesterday, huh?
Don't forget to call Mom & Dad to wish them a Happy Anniversary today! We'll be over there this evening once the "Other Sister" is home from work to get them their gift.
House on the market yet?

It's 8:35 am here in Utah and apparently I still have 3.5 hours to wait -- which is unfortunate, as we are checking out of the hotel around noon and heading up to Yellowstone Park. Consequently, I won't be on-line again until Tuesday or Wednesday :(...
I'm beginning to think that this is a "glass half full/empty" sort of thing. Last night I was up until the wee hours of the morning all excited & hopeful. I knew that it had been posted everywhere that it wouldn't be online until noon today (I am in Utah) but I was still hoping that they'd surprise us with it early. The change of the catalog cover happened soon after midnight, and then a few other changes on different pages.....it just got me more excited. I found myself chanting outloud...."it's coming, its almost here!" I felt like a kid at Christmas! I know some of you are getting frustrated and such, but stay hopeful..."Christmas" will be here and soon we'll all have new toys too play with!
