We just bought a house and I can finally move from rubbermaid boxes to an actual craft/stamp room!! I painted the walls what I would say is close to Pink Passion ( VERY pink) Its gorgeous and I love it! It has a wall full of built in cabinets/drawers with a desk built in (all white).
Question is : I was thinking of stamping something on the walls, what should I do?? I am not big into the flowery stuff and I don't want to clash with my new hot pink walls? White? Grey? Another color? Which stamp?
Help!! Any ideas are welcome and I"ll post pics of the finished room when I'm done.

ROTFLMBO!!!!
I was too embarrassed to not edit it!
My PC keyboard sometimes types 2 of what ever key I push or sometimes not at all Not the stamp set that has doubles, no actual 'teats' involved
What if you would make your own geometric shapes out of a sheet of rubber gasket or craft foam? I am thinking of a room looking like the great cards shared here with Simple Shapes or Simply Circles. You could also stamp some shapes for shadow effect and stamp the butterflies or whatever on top. If it is a stamp room, I would get some ideas from your favorite cards....it would be a room with inspiration!
as for color, what about a white or a light grey or a very light soft pink and then a contrsting color for the outlines.
Beate mentioned choco chip, or how about a gold or a darker grey or bordering blue?
keep us posted as to your choices and post pics when it is done. I am so jealous I wish I had a stamp room :(
Daven! Aren't you doing some painting this weekend?
whoa, that's weird, forgot I told you that! yeah, we've been slaving. like an episode of while you were out. we re-did morgan's whole room. here, just a sec I'll post a couple pics.
okay, a couple pics of morgan's new bedroom. she's 11 and gone for the weekend at nana's house. my sister came over and helped us, she's the artsy one.
sorry to hijack the thread. none of you should ever do this :^)
I don't know what look you like but what about bright colors (lime, purple, yellow, etc...) and the circle set. (can't think of the name). layer them in a fun but funky way. I don't know- just a thought.
Wow!!!! Amazing room! That's one lucky girl. Daven are you sure you want to post those you'll have 13,000 scs girls beating down your door to move in!!! Seriously, your daughter will just love it!!!!
okay, the squares were a direct replica of the bed spread. we measured every 12 inches from the ceiling to the floor, and every 12 inches from the left to the right (centered at the same spot as the bed). Then drew lines with a straight edge of cardboard and a cheap little level tool, taped off squares and painted.
must admit they took longer than anything else, but she's going to love it!
