Red face Help - Bellas!

Hi Bella Fans,

Okay, I'm a hobby demo who just found Bellas. I ordered a couple and got them today. No new catalog, but at least I got something fun! Anyway, I'm a little "Bella challenged", as I can't figure out how to make them stick to the acrylic block. I've never used acrylic stamps before, how do I get them to stick to the block so I can stamp with them? I know it's probably the easiest thing in the world, but....help!

I just use a little double sided tape on the back of the stamp and then mount them to my acyrlic block.

Elana,

Welcome to the world of Bellas.. They can be so much fun. I use double sided tape to adhere mine to the block and when it loses it stickiness I remove it and place a new piece down. There are a few other ways like tack-n-peel and eazy mount but I am not familar with them.

I right there with you waiting on my new catalog.... hopefully tomorrow!

HTH,

I like that Wackytac stuff - you just spread it on and let it dry and it keeps the bellas sticky for use over and over! I think you can get it at a craft store.

I personally can't use loose rubber like that. I would purchase some Creative Cling (easy mount foam, cling foam... whatever you call it) so that you can attach it to the rubber for a cushion- and that will stick to the block.

I also use EZ Mount on mine, takes a bit longer to get them ready to stamp, but then it is always 'mounted' and ready to go- have fun with your new bellas!

i noticed you said you hadn't used "acrylic stamps" before and i just wanted to clear (pardon the pun) something up. bellas are rubber, not "acrylic" so they work differently than clear stamps. clear stamps aren't actually acrylic, they're photo polymer or nylon, and it's the block that's acrylic. clear stamps will stick to the block as is, but bare rubber needs an adhesive or EZ mount, or the like. good luck!

Have fun! I use double sided tape too. It's worked for me. Just replace the tape when it loses its stickiness!
