TLC122: The business of saying goodbye...
While we are waiting for the new catalogs to arrive, let's say goodbye to some of our retiring favorites. The "twist"? Create a card that fits in a business size envelope...you know, the long ones.
So create a long card using retiring stamps or colors or accessories.
Here's one from 2 years ago(!) from my gallery.
SC15 - Elegant Birthday by showmestamper at Splitcoaststampers
Have fun!

I have not done a card of this size either. I can't wait. Question are we to use something that is retiring or is this just a goodby card for anyone like I will miss you??

Well I did not realize that Saterdays challenge would apply to todays challenge also! I will try to make another card later but I think with my husband, my 3 children and I being sick it might not happen!
Thanks for looking!

I haven't asked it there is any kind of pretty rose that is in the new catalog (haven't gotten one yet-I'm grumbling) because they have retired two of the prettiest we've had Mixed Bouquet and Roses in Winter. So, I am using this one from Mixed Bouquet.
My card

How fun! Now that the post office is getting to be such a stickler on envelope sizes, this size card is great! I'll get on this when I get home. Thanks, Beth.

Okay, this sounds like a fine challenge. I haven't made any this size before, so I don't know what it will look like!
Here's my card. I love it, even if I do say so myself. (I'm such a dork)
