Ok, the Friday Challenge is Mint Melody!! I uploaded a totally CASE'd card from last year's catalog as it is the only thing I have ever used Mint on.....can't wait to see what you guys have done!!
I HAVE made two Mint Melody notepads... just not got round to photographing and uploading yet. Am a bit bogged down with making cards for the 100 birthdays which are coming up in the next week! Why do they all come at once? And WHY do I never get organised sooner?

Beate - I love that - 48th favorite color! But I think I put us vanilla and us white ahead of it. And MM & GG - how very march 17th! Only day of the year those should even be mentioned together.
Now I am going to raid one of my SS packs and try to create something tolerable.
MM is towards the bottom of my favorite color list too (I'm Soft Subtles challenged to begin with--All I see is baby cards--except for the plums and Mellow Moss & Sage greens) ...but...I did try to use MM so I'd have a sample for those people that might like it...here ya go...

I actually started making some cards this morning with Mint Melody. I needed to make up some cards and was looking at my cardstock to see what color I never use and had a lot of.............and you guessed it MM.
Y'all should see the MM cards on my monitor! :lol: Not one of them is the same color and some some of them look worse (yes, that's possible) than MM looks in person (so to speak). :lol:
Please note: this is about how the color of the cards looks on my monitor - not that the cards themselves are bad!!!
What awesome cards you gals came up with!!!! Now for the next challenge for ya's....It has to be Marvelous Magenta since ya all keep saying you don't like it and never use it!!!

Well, that might be a SLIGHT exaggeration! But one's DH and one's DS, so that have to be GOOD... and, more importantly, DIFFERENT from each other! Oh, and it's our wedding anniv soon, too!
Oh, man...I'm SO sad...I wanna play too! I won't be able to play until Monday when the boyfriend goes out of town & I'm back from the cabin....can you guys do some challenges NEXT week too????
I think Kim and I are going to do them everyday...participate when you can. We used to make up challeges for each other to force us to branch out....why not let everyone share in the fun!
Do you have a specific place where you post what the daily challenge is or is there a gallery? I am still a little new to this and would love to join in on the fun.
I've been reading everyone's comments this morning about Mint Melody and thought I should check to see if I'd ever made any cards using this color and surprisingly I have! Can't say its my favorite but it must not be my least favorite either.

Darn it. I just got done looking at the gallary and I got "the Itch" I just had to head down to mystampn' room and add some MM to the gallary. Once again you've challenged and inspired me!
