I hope you are all enjoying the nice weather (in some places, it is raining here) and are looking forward to a nice weekend.
I have been on a scrapbook book binge at my local library lately and while I haven't found the latest books out there, I have found a lot of great resources. One of the favorite books I found was a creative cropping book from Memory Makers. There are a lot of really neat techniques to highlight your photos, so I thought I would give it a try. So now it is your turn! You can use the ideas from my samples or you can search for new ones. Feel free to post links here for all of us to share.
To mix it up, I will give everyone until 6pm PST to upload their pages and then we will vote on a winner. Of course everyone will be a winner, but the one that is chosen will get a special RAK from me! So lets see what you've got and have some fun!
Here are my pages one using my Coluzzle and the other with just my straight edged blade:
Great challenge! I like your pages a lot! I don't have any time to sb today-bummer. I just popped on to check out this weeks challenges. fun challenge though. I'll do this one later.
Thanks for the great challenge! At first I totally didn't think I would do this challenge because I don't crop my photos in cutesie ways or shapes (which is what originally came to mind when I read the challenge), but then I looked at your sample pages and a couple others in the gallery and realized that I could think outside the box for creative cropping! So, I went ahead and did it!
Great pages so far for this challenge, ladies!

Here's one using an old Creative Memories cutting tool--It makes a great flower, but ds isn't into flowers. So I just did a weird design and it at least catches the eye.
