Okay, here is this week's sketch challenge and here is the lovely card that inspired it, created by leslierich
She used a bow which you'll see on the sketch, but I thought it was definitly a design element that should be included in the sketch, so put whatever you want where the yellow bow to the left is.
Please post your creations in the gallery if you can, and if you can't share your work with us please play along at home.
It sounds like everyone had fun with last week's challenge!!! Let's see how leslie's beautiful card inspires you!
To print this layout: (NC means No Color) - If you see a small layout click on it or if you see an icon click on the words next to it.
-When the black surround screen appears click only on the layout and a white screen with the layout should appear.
-Right click and click on print from the pop up box or hold down your shift key and P key at the same time.
-Now you're ready to choose print and it should print to actual size of the card depending on your computer.
Once again, the deadline is.....???????? :? By the way...keep these challenges up, my stamping supplies are getting dusted off from their Christmas nap!!!
Wow! I think I HAVE died and gone to heaven (I just can't figure out why my foot still hurts)! First I was CASE'd for the first time ever by qcbetty (Debbi) and now this! Is this a conspiracy to make me feel good or something? Anyway, thanks! I'm feeling very happy.

Okay, here's my contribution to your newest challenge. It was so fun doing the first one, and seeing all the different takes that were made, how could I resist another one?!
I'll have to make a "Happy Birthday to Me" card since the deadline is my birthday!I usually make myself a couple different cards, or my hubby will go buy one

I love the seeing all the beautiful cards that have come from these sketch challenges. I am saving so many of them along with original sketch to my favorites that it gave me an idea.
Wouldn't it be great to have a seperate gallery just for this. Perhaps they could set up a gallery link for the sketches like they do for the special collections or monthly contests. What do you all think? Do you think they would do it?

These challenges are AWESOME!! AndreaSophia. Thanks so much for putting them up. I love having a week to work on them and I love the inspiration! That way when I have to make a card for someone I think about the weeks challenge and start there!!! This is great!
We have a snow day today because of a lovely icey snow mix (or at least thats what it looks like....I haven't ventured out) so I think I might give the challenge a try this afternoon I'll post when I'm done ;)
Here's my try - I'm home today because daycare is closed due to ice and snow - so I needed to make a very warm and relaxing card after I shoveled the driveway!

here's the first one: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Too fun! I've really enjoyed looking at everyone's samples and will have to do one, too, when I get home tonight. I also like the idea of saving the sketch and samples so will be doing that when I get home as well! Keep those samples coming everyone...
happy stampin'

I will try to stamp this afternoon! All of the cards posted are wonderful!!! WOW!!!! It's very cool to see so many great cards come out of one basic design, but they all are so unique!!! Great work, ladies!
thanks for the challenge! I think I will go back to last week and test that one out also! I saw one from last week I think I will CASE for a baby card.
Okay, I haven't taken the challenge yet, but I did look at each and everyone of the cards that you ladies posted links to, and I just have to say, you are one talented bunch of ladies! The time and effort each of you took for the challenge to make a beautiful card really showed and inspired me to slow down and really try to make a card that shows my talent. I'm so busy usually, that I do the "keep it simple, stupid" cards that are nice and are great to demo and for swaps, but I need to take time for myself to really CREATE.
Thank you all for your inspiration. If I can get the time to create before this week's challenge is over, I'll post again. If not, I'll catch a future challenge!
WOW, I'm impressed! I wasn't understanding the sketch challenges but I think they might be just the ticket to get me stamping again! I've been in a rut and just can't seem to get goin'...I'll try tomorrow and see what happens!
I'm not entirely thrilled with the one I made either (forgot to post here that I had finally finished it the other day) but I'll let you see anyway LOL.
