I have been viewing your gallery and I must say, you are a genius!! (Is her head about to explode?? LOL) Anyhow, I love your work and you have inspired me a few times in my own work. Thanks for the motivation!!
Yup Lana the Queen of Inspiration!!! ;) She doesn't poke her head in here to much anymore, but we can still talk about her yet can't we?? rofl Heck I stalk her everyday yet... :lol:
I say we declare the week of August 29 - I LOVE LANA WEEK and furthermore dedicate a card in the gallery to Lana during this week. Maybe include a note as to why you think the DDD girl is super terrific.

Ditto Darth!! Oh, she will just howl when she reads this. "LOVE LANA WEEK". But, really her stamping ability never ceases to amaze me. And where does she find the time to get everything done that she does. But, she will insist that she is just a "normal" person, however, she is beyond normal. I mean that in a good way!! LOL
I too have had many an inspiration from Lana, and she just laughs me off! The nerve!! I am serious though, Lana you are an inspiration to us all! And thanks for sharing "you" with us!!! :lol:
Oh, that's great!! "I Love Lana" week will be wonderful!! Hmmm, anyone got a Skunk stamp I can borrow? I want to make something EXTRA special!!!! The ideas are overwhelming.... :lol:

OM-Gosh! You guys! Jenn calls me up and I'm in the middle of trying to order "something" from Viking. It wasn't going through and I had to keep typing in my credit card. So any ways, she tells me to go to my favorite site (of course, I immediately thought of SCS)! Finally, I give up on ordering that top secret stuff that we all get from Viking. Go to SCS. And here is this thread. What did I do? I was thinking somebody was flaming somebody again and I was going to have to smoke the peace pipe and pass it around again!

What did I do to deserve a thread like this? I know I haven't posted any cards lately. Is that it?
Gosh, it is just amazing to me how you can go from having an absolutely terrible week to just an absolutely best week just from peeking in at SC from time to time.
Yes, I am just a normal person. I really am. My stamping gals (hi Julie, Roxie, and Barb) and fellow Splitcoasters will vouch for that. They will pop my head if I ever need it!
Seriously, thank you all for the very nice comments. It brought a tear to my eye, but I was too excited to cry. You all just absolutely made my day. No more pity parties for me (I feel better today, too, Cami-I think it was all of that venting we did to each other).
So what should we do during my holiday week? YIPPPPYYYYY! Oh and guess what? School starts on Wednesday next week. AND even better. . . . I have FRIDAY (sept 3rd) OFF! All day to myself! I can't believe it! I really can't! I will probably organize my t-shirts that day! lol!
I love it, an I LOVE LANA WEEK!! I'll need to dig out my Tempting Turquoise CS and order that Just Jeans background stamp that I must have in order to Idolize Lana!!
I have loved Lana ('s work) even before I knew there was an SCS. And, now that I cyberknow Lana, I love her as much as her work. Must get to work on a suitable accolade for her week. What a great idea!

I'm so in!!!! Lana is such an inspiration.... not just her talented ability to take paper and make something wonderful, but the fact that she is such an AMAZINGLY sweet person! Always so positive and giving!

Count me in !!!! Lana is Queen for the Week, but then you have to give up the actual title because we can't have too many Queens (you know Robin already has that permanent title) - but there can be lots of Princesses!!
Way to go Lana....some of your cards were the first ones I put into my favorites to CASE when I first found this site!

OH MY GOSH!!!! Debbi......that is my nick name!!!! I even had personalized plates on my car that said "LEESE". had them in AK!!!! that is too funny. most of my friends call me Leese or Lisa Lisa....there always seems to be a "Hey" in front......I can't believe you said that!!!
Yes.....the treat is similar.....a little different. she only got the mini book!!! not the ribbon sampler. she sent me a little bit of ribbon to finish it up! Now...SHE IS SWEET......NOT ME!
I think for our Lovin Lana week, we should all get new quotes that have the word "Lana" at the bottom. That gives us till Monday to think up something Lanariffic!!
