When it comes to your stamping creations, who's your biggest fan? While my dh is extremely supportive of all my crafting, I think when it comes to really appreciating my finished creations my two best friends are my biggest fans. We've been friends for over 20 years (wow!) They are always so thankful when I give them something handmade and will treat me every now and then to a little something, like a new stamp, paper, etc., to help support my habit. I think I'll make them each a card just to thank them for their encouragement.
Your turn...who's your biggest fan, and what can you do to show your appreciation to him/her?

I just love the smell of Stazon in the morning!
I think my biggest fans are my friends, Sue and Roz. We share ideas and show encouragement to one another on our projects. When I create something new, I always make 3 and share them with my two special friends.

My hubby is.. when I am stamping he likes to come and peek at what I am making. He always wants to see what I have made too. He asked me to make two promotion cards for some of his Army Drill Sergeants that got promoted. He was very happy with the cards and said that the DS's really liked them as well.

That's a tough call... it makes me realize how lucky I am, that it's hard for me to choose the person who supports me the most. My mom and close friends are very supportive!! But I think the most supportive is my boyfriend... he feigns interest as I go on about stamping, always supports and encourages me and went to Joann's himself at Christmas and bought me supplies. I love that guy!!
My husband and his mother are my always behind me with all my projects! He will take me anywhere to find a craft item I "need" to have and next weekend will walk, slowly, but walk the scrapbook convention with me.
Definitely my grandma. When she was in the hospital last summer, I made her a get well card. She proudly showed it to every single person that walked through the door ~~ family, friends, medical staff. She's always saying I should sell them!

Hands down- my DD who is 3. She likes everything I make- even if its a complete messup! SHe will take any card, sign it and give it to someone. She is a sweetie...
My DH is very supportive, comments on my cards and doesn't say a word about all my supplies! He refuses to buy cards at a store anymore and says he'd rather have one of mine. He thinks it's funny that the card retailers have started making their cards more dimensional to try and compete with us stampers! My MIL also has every card I've made her and is always happy to get another one - and believe me it's easy to tell when she doesn't like something! ;)
My mother in law and a gal at work. I am also breaking in my nephew's fiance'. She is a school teacher and gives wonderful encouraging compliments! ;-)
That would definatley be my Mom!! She always loves to get things that I have made. She takes them to work and shows all her friends. Her office ar work is full of things I have made her - frames, calenders, cards, and notepads. She doesn't like to stamp because she says she doesn't have the patience. She will buy stamps just to get me to make cards for her. I make all her Christmas office presents for her ladies.
I admit to being a little envious of you whose DH's are your biggest fans. Not that mine isn't supportive, he isn't overly vocal I guess. When I read between the lines, I know he thinks my cards are pretty nice because he asks me to make one for someone every now and then!
My girls are very uplifting, as are most of my friends. We have a little 'show and tell' at work whenever one of us who make cards have a new one to show.
It sounds egotistical, but my biggest fan is me! My work doesn't compare to a lot of the incredible works posted by many of my favorites on this site (like 11Valerie11, pinefeather, and such), but I get such a huge feeling of creative accomplishment when I see some of my completed projects. I know how much time and effort I put into the project - something that those who receive my creations really don't understand and many times don't care about. Other people compliment me on my work and they do enjoy receiving it, but I get such a huge good feeling from the creative process and seeing the completed work, even if no one liked it, I still do.
That is a toss up between my DH & DS. (I am the only girl in my house....). My 13 yo DS has a lot of affection for the A Muse stamps that I have been rapidly collecting -- along with any animal stamps.
He likes to draw cartoons, so he appreciated stamping.
Hubby appreciates the sanity that stamping gives me & asks me to make cards for his side of the family.

To be honest, I thought of saying much the same thing too...! I do love to look at what I have created, get a sense of satisfaction! Not so much egotistical, though, as a sense of well being with what you have done...
My friend Mary Ann. She always will stop by & come into my office & just Awh... like crazy. She makes me feel so good inside :-D I am my dd's biggest fan. Her stuff rocks & I tell her all the time to send her stuff in but she doesn't.
It would have to be my mom. She displays all the cards I send her. She will also take them to her lss and show them off to the owner. My kids are also big fans, especially DD. My DH has never commented on anything I have made, and I must admit it bothers me.

DH is definitely one of my biggest fans. Next DS Lisa and dear, dear friend Pearl.
Pearl will not use the cards I make her, says they are too pretty. She is also my mother figure, I just love her.
Awwww, my Mom and my sister of my stamping creations! My DH is very very supportive of my stamping hobby, so I guess he's my biggest fan in that respect! Awwww!

After my wife of course...I think my biggest supporters would definitely be Dawn Mercedes and Allison Fillo! they support my work on my blog so much I think I may actually be good...lol.
I think I'm my own biggest fan. I have few friends who appriciate my art and although my hubby wants me to be happy and will support my habbit, he would just as quickly buy hallmark as use one of my cards.

Mine would have to be my mom. She loves every card even the ones I don't like that much. That being said I think that my dh may be a more honest critic, as he will tell me if he doesn't think a card is up to my standards (his words not mine). I am just happy they are both so supportive of me.
My DH is very supportive and will never say no when I need/want something for stamping, but my baby sister (ribbonsandthings) is the one who appreciates my work the most- she also stamps and is in fact the person who introdudced me to stamping. We live about 500 miles away- so we call one another when we make something- then we look on each others gallerys- we did the last VSN together (a first for both of us) and we talked on the phone throughout the whole thing- it was so much fun!!
