SBSC93- June 1, 2007 SUMMERTIME IS HERE!!! (k, so not officially but close enough to say it is SO!)
Good Afternoon my scrampin sista's!!! I must say that I did not intend to wait so long to post this challenge...quite the contrary, I prefer the night before. Unfortunately, I was unaware of the SCS downtime late last night! YEAH for upgrades...BOO for not planning ahead. Maybe everyone can forgive just this once (or is that like the 20th time:rolleyes...
Now for a sketch (or 2!!!). With blogs being all the rage these days...they are poppin up all over SCS and I must say that some of them are really rockin da house with their freestyle skilz...challenges...and the ever yummy; Blog Candy. I jumped on the bandwagon not so long ago myself and it is totally fun and just as addictive as the rest of our hobbies. LOL
SKETCH #1 comes from our very own Beate John's blog...this sketch was originally shared as a card sketch challenge offering some yummy candy in celebration of Beate's uber popular blog. I ran accross our most favorite (other) mod's SB page using Beate's sketch and voila an SB challenge is in the works!

Sorry to post and run...I have lots to share later but right now I have to get a teenager to the Dr's office for his physical paperwork and a siggy!
I have been attempting to complete this thread most of the afternoon...my goodness Friday is supposed to be lax! COME ON LAX where did ya go...K, gotta jet! Hugs girlies...Oh and this weekend (after I chat with the girls again. S & D) I have a few SUPRISES up my sleeve!
Location: Trying to spend as much time as possible watching Xander and Xavier grow and learn!

Love the sketches, esp. the first one! Too cute. ANyway, hopefully I'll be able to play later (if I get my sb stuff back from my mom's. I left it at my mom's yesterday after helping her on a sb for her dad's anniversary. She's right, I'm going to go into withdraw if I don't get it back soon!)
I tried to be good and post on Thursday too, but we have an excuse since SCS was down! I love these sketches. Also, please know that the challenge to win the blog candy on Beate's blog is already over, but she has lots of challenges every week!
Thanks for clarifying that is why I posted that it was "originally shared as...". Hopefully, I didn't confuse anyone but if so my girl Sheri has got my back! Thanks chickie!
I like to share a bit of information when I do something different...sometimes it makes sense sometimes it may not. :mrgreen:

I went with sketch 2 on this one. I tried to fit it on an 8.5 x 11 page though and it really didn't quite come out the same. No stamping on this one--all paper products. I did have to make the salad so I could photograph. Most of my recipe pages are scraplifted picture off of the Internet, since I don't plate things with any flair. DS had requested I make some of this salad anyhow, so I had already purchased the candy bars. He will be happy come dinner time this evening.
