I figured it was high time for another Pencil Lines sketch! Yea! I love this sketch. Pencil Lines is so great! Soo...question, what does being on a DT entail? I'm nervous excited and doubt anything will come of it, but I'm thinking seriously of sending in my app.!
I guess I am the first one to complete the challenge today. I needed this as a basis for my June scrapbooking workshop. I had already decided to use roses in winter and loved the color of the sketch so I put those two elements together. The hard part was finding some pictures to go on the pages and the ones I used were old and not 4x6 so I had to adjust that a bit. I have a wedding to attend in a couple weeks so I am hoping to update the pictures. The ones I used were too bright for the papers. Thanks for looking.
I like this sketch. Made me think of pics to use to follow it. Hence I think I have a nice story of my mothers day photo shoot at church. I hadn't been to Pincelslines either. I'm deffinately not up to their standards, but I'm having fun with the inspiration. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I see I'm the first to not strictly adhere to the sketch. lol, well I think I'll be doing some more layouts with this sketch to make sure I come up with my best one in case I decide to apply for the dt, but in the meantime, here is my first one, Bathing Beauty.

I got an email back from them - they said that you don't get paid/compensated or anything and you must commit to send in 1 scrapbook page a week based on their sketch of the week.
I've decided not to apply, but blessings to those of you who do apply!!!
I have made another scrapbook page that vaguely resembles the sketch (it's much looser an interpretation) if you would like to check it out! 12x12 My Funny Boy

Hi! I am not sure of that but I know there are a ton of Scrap Kit Clubs out there where you can email them and find out if they need anyone. That is pretty much all I know. If you would like answers sooner, it would be better if you went to our chat thread and asked people there. Here is the link for right now: Forums at Splitcoaststampers. Great sketch! I finished this last night, but I think I'm going to send it in to pencil lines to apply for thier design team. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that site and I think it would be super fun to be apart of thier weekly sketches. I'll upload my page in a few weeks after the DT application deadline.
