Default I found a great Embelishment at WALMART! YIPPIE

OH I am soo thrilled and proud of my self.

I was walking down the normal school/office supply isle in Walmart and something caught my eye. It was a small silver tin with silver paper clips in it. But not the everday paperclips...they are speacial paperclips that are in the shap of a swirl!!

OOOOHHHH Swirly paperclips are fun!!

The best part is that it was only $2.50 for a pack of 50!

THis is why I love WALMART!

I'm not sure how to add an attachement here so You'll just have to check them out in my gallary. They are on my "Simple Shapes" card sample.

GO GET YOURSELF SOME!! They attach great with mini glue dots or you could stitch them on. What a great card or scrapbook embelishment!

just an FYI

Love ya'll

Checked your gallery & didn't see the card you referenced. Did you just now upload it? If so it could take a while and I'll wait patiently to see what your masterpiece looks like!

Our Walmart is just being built too, and I can't wait. Closest one now is 60 miles away. But I am heading there today.

I have seen the swirl type and other shapes at local scrapbook stores. They are so very cute and versatile. However, they cost more at the scrapbook store so $2.50 for a pack of 50 is a really great deal! Thanks for the heads up as I'm always on the lookout for creative embellishments at a great price!

$2.50 for a pkg of 50! That's a deal! I saw some at a scrapbook store here (mind you, they were blue, not silver) but you only got 8 clips for $3.00! I'm off to Walmart now!

Default Target has different colors

We just picked some up. They are in silver and gold and black maybe. Can't remember. They're not in front of me.

We also found some of the cutest mini emery boards in the hair care/travel tote aisle. They were $.99 for 12 or 20. Again, not in front of me so I can't remember exactly. They are about 2 in long and half in (maybe) wide. I love them.

I found them too! Aren't they fun? Even the tin is cute! I used mine with ribbon, just slipped the clip through a ribbon tied in a knot. I'll get a photo of the card up in the next few days.
I just love Walmart (except right before school starts!)

Default Swirl Paper Clips

Target also sells a mixed container of these clips that have copper, pewter and gold. Cannot remember how many in a package but they were about 2.99 for a tin of them.

I love these ... but have yet to use them. I also bought the silver ones from Target too ... but it was a package of all silver

Happy Stampin!

Are the emery boards just for nails or is there some stamping technique I've never heard of?

I found the round clips in a variety of colors at the local Meijer this past weekend for about 2.50. I was kinda mad that the container had so many orange clips but last night I was working on a swap and pulled out my only orange cs and wanted to put a ribbon on it and then it hit me...use the orange clips as an embellishment to get rid of them! It completed the card. And with Halloween coming up I am now thinking I need more of the orange clips. LOL!!!!!!

I have some of those, but I paid way too much at Hobby Lobby for MM brand. I have some samples in my gallery using these.

Glad that you all love these clips too! We'll have to tell SU! to add them to the next catalog. Of course they should keep the competitive price point!!!

Has anyone found any good deals on vellum metal edge tags? I'm still searching for the best price!

I HAD to got to the store get toilet paper so I decided to hit the Target and look for the copper and black circle clips as well. Found them, too cute! But in the back to school section I found a variety pack of gold and silver brads (regular size)in heart, star and square shapes...100 for 1.04!! MM sells them for at least 2.99 for 50? Plus I found the colored staples that MM sells (which I have been wanting but didn't want to pay their price) for get this.....68 cents. Woo Hoo..... you know what all my cards and sb pages will have on them!!!!!!

If you check it out (at least in our WalMart) in the same "business" isle there are metal edge circle tags (15 in the pack) and regular tags (50 or 100) for the same price! They are definately NOT Stampin' Up!, but if you need quite a lot of them, it saves $$$$$$! I've also bought the colored circle stickers and have stamped images or letters on them for Scrapbook pages. Again, just a great way to save $$$$
