:lol: I've been lurking for a while now and I feel like I'm getting to know some of you. The problem is noone knows me! lol I feel like a peeping tom or the fly on the wall. So here is a little about me:
I'm a sahm to 3 boys: Kaydon and Kolton-2yr old twins and Weston-7mo. I just started stamping in January and I'm HOOKED! I LOVE IT! I just wish I had more hours in the day. My aunt-in-law is a SU demo and as much as I didn't think I was a stamper she knew better and took me under her wing and squeeed the creative juices out of me! I thought I was getting into this to get the dust off the boys' scrapbooks and wouldn't you know I've yet to complete 2 whole pages! Seems like I enjoy the instant gratification of card making & things I can finish in between diaper changes, bottles and cleaning up after my two little tornados. It's a beautiful thing when I can get them to all nap at the same time!
Anything else you'd like to know feel free to ask. I'm happy to be here and I've already learned tons from all you stamping gurus. Thanks a bunch!! I look forward to making new friends and sharing my new found love with all of you!
Oh - I am Jennifer, been married 10 years, have two kids (Chandler is 6 and Adrianna is 4), live in lovely, hot South Central Texas. I work a FT job, and stamp whenever I can, too, so I know just what you mean! I love to scrap for my kids, and for my sanity. In a nutshell, that's it! I have other interests, but just not as interesting as stamping! LOL
Nice to meet you both. I'm in Utah, forgot to mention that. We just celebrated our 5th anniversary on the 22nd. I really don't have any other hobbies anymore. I just don't have time for any. We used to be big boaters/waterskiiers, but those days are behind us. Atleast until our kids get older and we buy a new boat. I was also a stock broker in my former life. Nowadays I'm just lucky if I get out of my pj's! :lol:

I am Beate....and I am a stampaholic. I will be leaving for a one week vacation to Florida already and I am already breaking out in cold sweats thinking about the withdrawals I am going through.
I am originally from Germany. Born and raised there. Then this wonderful american Air Force guy swept me off my feet and we have been married for over 10 years now. We have three great kids (Austin,9, Lucas, 7, and Rebecca is 5). We are currently living in San Antonio, TX. I am lucky enough to have Jenn as my best friend. She rocks! So do my cyber friends Lana, Debbie and Cami...all of whom I have met here.

I'm Kathie, I live smack dab in the middle of Wisconsin. I have four kids(Christopher 15, Madalyn 9, Alison 8 and Thomas is 5), Been married for 9 years. We are always very busy, but never to busy to stamp. In my former life I was a Cardiovascular Surgical Technician. When Tommy goes to school this year I get to go back to school too! it will be lonely around here. And I too, have a hard time getting out of my jammies. :lol:
Hi: I'm Juddaca & I too have 4 kids: Maddie 10, Judd 8, Lydia 6 & Caroline 3. I'm a SAHM in North Carolina. I am on my 3rd yr of stamping & soon approaching my 3rd yr of demoing SU! I've been married 12 yrs. & I am a former Chem/Phys. teacher. I can't even remember being that....10 yrs. ago. Weird! My husband thinks I joined a cult & have been lost to the cause for the last 3 yrs. I stopped asking him to look at my cards in the a.m., after stamping all p.m. the night before 6 mo. into this craziness. I could tell he couldn't really seem to think of what to say after card 1,003! Thanks for your intro., gals.

Hi Ladies...I am Doris, and I live in beautiful, sunny and sometimes very hot, Phoenix, AZ. I am farm girl from Iowa, but have lived here for almost 20 years. I have been married for 12 years to the same wonderful guy, and have a 8 year old daughter, Lauren, and a 5 year old son, Evan. I was a District Sales Manager before I gave up my career to be a full time wife and mom. I have been stamping for the past five years...but have decided to not be a demo (one of the few on this site!), but enjoy my hobby a great deal. I have become addicted to this site.. , but that is a good thing! Nice to meet you all!
I am Lori! I live in Gresham, OR and have 4 kids (Sariah 8, Caylie 6, and twins Joseph and Jaren 2) I love stamping, but don't find enough time to do it!! I have been stamping approximately 5 years now and attend a stamp camp once a month. I love this site. It's actually the only site I frequent. Hello all! I'm Chris from Minnesota. I grew up in Wisconsin Dells. I have been married to the most wonderful man on earth for 22 years, and we have the greatest kids--Evan (17) and Emily (15). I've been a demo for a little over a year, but I've been stamping for 6 years. I also work at a community center as the computer lab manager--just recently increased my hours from 15 per week to 25. But I work on 10 computers, so I can check on y'all during the work day!
I'm so glad I found this site. The work of you ladies is breath-taking. And you're all sooooo much fun!

My name is Trish and I've been married for 3.5 yrs. We have 1 son, Scott, who is 4 months and currently crying in my ear. (Don't get me wrong-I'm not ignoring him, he just has gas and there's not much I can do for him :( ) I live in western/central Mass and became a SU demonstrator the end of March. In my previous life I was a cell biologist, however I gave up commuting to Cambridge 1 year ago this month. (He stopped crying )
I've also enjoyed looking at everyones art work. And getting introduced to techniques I have never done! I may post myself one day!

Hi! Guess it's time for me to introduce myself too! I'm Niki. I'm a SAHM to Cameron (4) and Sara (almost 2). I live just north of Seattle, but am originally from CT. Met my husband in college and we'll be married 10 years this summer. I'm not a demo, but my best friend (Jan.stamp) is. She calls me her silent partner (more like not-so-silent). I love helping her prepare for parties and stamp camps. We check in on this site many, many times a day. You ladies are constantly inspiring me!
I guess I may as well jump in...My name is Carrie, I've got 2 children, both boys, 15 and 11, my husband and I live in Pace, FL, and I teach 2nd grade. It is now summer and if my friend Sonya thought she heard enough about my SCS(as I have learned from Beate) exploring...well let's just say "It's only just begun!" I love this site. You ladies are always sharing and I feel as if I know some of you just by reading your posts. I haven't posted anything yet, but I'll do some soon. I'm just alittle nervous, because everyone's stuff is so good. I've been stamping about 2 years and I am addicted as most of you are. Can't wait to see more new ideas with the "Summer Mini" sets.

Wow! What an amazing bunch of ladies! I am so excited to be a part of this group! I'm sorry Chris from Minnesota, but I have the MOST wonderful husband on earth. We've been married for 5 1/2 years and have 5 kids! We're the Brady Bunch - without Alice! Jeff, Nichole, Jonathan, Daniel & Darren. (20, 18. 16, 15, 14) We live in a small town in Oklahoma. My husband and I both work for a computer learning company. I'm in Sales/Customer Service, he's in Tech Support. Our company changed hands 2 years ago and the new owners are in Florida, so they asked us to work from home! I have it made. I work all day in my pjs and since my kids are older, I can stamp at night!
I look forward to getting to know each of you and I appreciate all the awesome ideas I'm getting from the site!
I am the sahm of three-Will (12 1/2), Mary (9), and Katie (8 ). I have been married to Jeff for NINETEEN YEARS next week! Isn't that cool! In my former life, I taught elementary school for 12 years. I quit (retired--hee hee) 5 years ago. We live in central Indiana in the house I grew up in.
I have stamped for a long, long time, probably 17 years. But let me explain, the first 12 years were only stamping cute little sayings, like a Fred Flintstone saying "Yabba-dabba-do Good Work" or a little airplane pulling a banner that read, "Flying high!" on the top of students papers!! I actually didn't go to my first REAL stamping event until 2 1/2 years ago. I caught the stamping bug a year later and it's all been downhill since.
I have yet to become a demonstrator, although you have all given me the itch, especially after the recent forum posts on becoming a demonstrator! I need to get some projects done around the house (like cleaning and organizing my stamp/craft/computer/girl scout room) before I even think to approach my husband with the idea. Hmmmm, let's see, at the rate I've been going, I will probably get that room organized in hmmm, maybe, 4 or 5 years! EVerytime I go into the room to start working, I think," hmmm, I wonder if any new cards have been posted at SCS. I'll just take a minute to check." you know the rest of the story!! :lol: :lol:

My name is Michele and I too am a newbie. I am not a demonstrator, just a very addicted stamper and scrapper (stamping for 13 years, scrapping for 2). I am 29 (will be 30 in August and to be honest with you I am dreading it!!). I live in a small town in Washington over by Spokane. I have one daughter (Kaylee) who will be 4 in September. My husband and I have been married for 9 years (in April). I work part-time in Medical Records at a very small hospital. We are in the process of building a new house right now and that is proving to be quite an adventure!
I have enjoyed reading a little bit about everybody. Please feel free to ask anything (I've really got nothing to hide). I have met a few of you already and am enjoying my new-found friendships (joleenieweenie) and hoping to make a lot more.
Hi, I am Laurie and I live in Central Washington (how far away are you, Michelle?), not too far away from Niki. I have been married a long, long time but only have an almost 10 year old girl, Denali and a 6 year old boy, Dawson. I have been a SAHM for 11 years (was very, very sick during the first pregnancy!) In my former life, I was a psychologist (which is why I had to wait so long to have kids!) and still manage to give few college lectures and work on research over the internet on a part-time (non-paid :( basis!) My stamping addiction is leading to more paid work next year though, when my son goes to first grade! I was born and raised in Texas (but not San Antonio!), lived many years in Alaska (married a wonderful Alaskan man), lived many years in Oregon (Beaverton) and now have lived in Central Washington for 6 years. I was an avid scrapbooker and only got into stamping for the alphabet stamps (with two kids whose name starts with D, there was never enough D stickers from CM!) Of course, I got really, really hooked and now am two years behind on my scrapbooking because of stamping up so many cards, too! I love, love, love this website because I am not very creative and must have lots of ideas to help me! I am not a demonstrator, but love and adore mine (Kristi) and have the greatest admiration for all of you! Thanks so much for introducing yourselves and for sharing your incredible talent with all of us!

I am a SAHM to a four year old boy named Brett! He keeps me busy.
I am a teacher, but I am staying home with him for now and not working currently. I will be married for 5 years this July.
I bought my first stampin up sets in college about 8 years ago and was hooked from then on.
I noticed some people on this site that live kinda close to me...would love to meet you someday. I am in Beaverton, OR. I grew up in Tacoma Washington area though, and visit up there often still.
Keep all the ideas coming...I love to see all the different styles and talents on this site! Keeps me going...

That is so strange that you lived here in Beaverton. I went to College in Central Washington at CWU. My mom is living in Republic Washington, so I go through Wenatchee a few times a year.
What part of Alaska did you live in? I worked at a fish canary one summer..(I don't recomend it to anyone...LOL)

My name is Kurstan - I'm 22 and currently live in San Francisco with my husband (of a little over a year) and our zoo!! We're moving to the EC this fall, though - Chapel Hill, NC to be exact = 0) I've been stamping on and off for a few years, but have recently found SU! and became a demonstrator in March! I'm more of a hobby demo, though.

I have been married for 13 years and have 3 boys, Jordan(13), Jared(8 1/2), and Jace(4 on the 4th of July) I live in the northwoods of Wisconsin. This is a great site and I seem to be on it daily. Most of you I feel I know from seeing your beautiful artwork (even though I've never met you or even chatted with you before) :lol: My name's Lisa and I've been a member since September. I've been stamping for 7 years but became an SU demo in August. I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT. oK - I am a little hyper. I live in Indiana and my husband Dave and I just celebrated our 18th anniversary. We have two girls - Kaitlyn (14) and Erin (12). I would love to post some of my work and chat more, but I must admit that I'm completely computer illiterate. :oops: That's pretty sad too considering my husband owns his own computer business. One day I'll figure it out and then I won't be a stalker! :lol: Just wanted to say hey and glad this thread got started. Hope you all have an inspiring stamping day!
Hey...Ann, here from The Woodlands, TX (just north of Houston). Two teenagers that are going to be the death of me (or them?) One 16 yr old boy..just started driving. And a 14 yr old girl with a social life better than I had in my 20's!!! I am basically a ATM and a taxi driver. LOL!

Well, since everyone else is jumping in I will too. My name is Michelle and I live in NE Ohio. I am a SAHM to 2 DD's (Cori - soon to be 5 on 6/11 and Monica - just turned 2 on 5/25). DH and I have been married for 8 1/2 years. I started stamping in November 2003 and have slowly been building up my supplies. Seems like I have to get everything from the catty but never have enough time to stamp and use the stuff that I have accumulated. But, when I do find the time I LOVE IT! I have looked at just about every gallery there is online and by far this one is the best (IMO). I'm almost as addicted to this site as I am to stamping itself. It seems I check this site several times a day - just to see what creativity has been added. Does anyone else do this?

Well I guess I 'll tell you about myself. My name is Shannon, I have been stamping for about 6 years now. I just love it. I have 4 kids JJ(15), Manuel(12), Ben(10), Alyssa(9) not trying to pat myself on the back :lol: but they are great kids. My DH & I have been married for 15 years. I run a daycare out of my home so I am able to stamp a little bit all day long which is always great. From reading this site & getting so much info I am thinking about becoming a demo. Well that's enough about me. It's been great meeting everyone.

I'm Debbi, and I live on the north coast of BC, on the Queen Charlotte Islands (just south of Alaska). I'm not a demo, but I do love SU! stamps in a big way!! I've been stamping for years, but only "creating" since finding out about SU (did I say their products rock?!). I'm married, it will be 15 years in September. No kids, just a dog, cat and some chickens. Hubby and I both work in the logging industry - he in the woods, me in an office. We've been here for 11 years, but came from the Lower Mainland (New Westminster to be exact). It's a beautiful place but very isolated...and that makes it hard to get my craft supplies!!
I love this group, almost as much as my own family! I love the creativity I find here. I check it more than my mail, quite frankly...and we're lucky to have such an awesome site. Inspiration plus, I must say!!

I am Stephanie from Arkansas. I've been a SU Demo since Nov02. I am a FULL TIME student and am almost finished with a degree that i might never use....(BS in Early Childhood Edu) My ambition in life is to be a good wife, and have children (none so far!) My husband and I have been married almost three years (June 9).
Currently I am babysitting a 9 and 6 yearold (Both handfulls, but self sufficiant, I find company in SCS), trying to sell my house, trying to finish building my new house, move, juggle a business (Stampin Up) and I am about to start summer school (4hours a day, 4 days a week, for the month of June....Can't wait till JULY!!!)....and trying to graduate w/ honors. We will see.....
It looks like we will probably moveing during summer school, and the week of a big show. Hey but if Im not busy I'm board, so it's okay.
Oh yeah...music is my other passion. I play piano, trumpet, and I can play the drums a little. My dad plays the guitar, my brother plays the guitar and drums, and my sister plays the flute. The other sister dances. With church, church orchestra, and attending my little sisters recitals/concerts, I'm busy.
I am trying to make SU a full time thing, however it's not as easy....But I'm trying. That is the ultimate goal: To have a family, stay home, and STAMP!!!!!
I love this site, too! In fact, I hardly ever go anywhere else these days. I used to check in only once a day, but now with so many cards being posted every day, I think I need to check in more often!
My user name is "Speedystamper." A stamper friend of mine always calls me this . . . she teases me that I never waste any time! Actually, in a way, she's right. I'm a homeschool mom to a second, third and a fourth grader. I had my three girls in 3 years and 2 weeks. Those were the days!
I've been a Mary Kay consultant since 1989 and a Creative Memories consultant since 1996. I love make up, scrapbooking and STAMPING! I don't think I can add being a Stampin' Up consultant to the mix, but I am a really, really, good customer!!! This site alone has probably upped my yearly purchases considerably!! And, I keep adding more and more sets to my wish list!!
My hubby, Steve, just left with the girls to go to the lake. I have to stay home because I am babysitting my neice tomorrow, but I plan to join him there tomorrow night. I plan to stamp all night (while watching CSI and Without a Trace).
This is a great site and it's fun getting to know everyone.

I live in Albany, OR. I have been married to my High School Sweetheart for 17 years. We have 3 children Oops, Uh-Oh, and Again?!?! Otherwise known as Brandon (16), Angel (8 ) & Arianna (3 in 2 weeks). I have been a stamper for many years. One of my first projects was stamping my Son's birth announcements. My Mom joined SU in '98 and continually bugged me to join too. So last summer I sold off my collection of over 600 non-SU stamps to earn the $ for my kit. This was a great excuse to buy more stamps! I love everyone's skill and creativity. I love to stamp, bead, design (everything from beaded earrings to x-stitch). My outside job is driving School Bus. I get to spend quality time with 200+ children a day. Is it any wonder I'm a little nuts? :P

OK Since some of y'all posted from IN, maybe you can help me: I'm going to my Auntie's in Bloomington, IN for Memorial Day Weekend to camp on her farm w/ my 20 (1st) cousins & all their babes. I've been sooo excited because they haven't seen the last 2 of my kids & I haven't since several of theirs. Anyway, she called & left a message (we had awards pm at school) that we need boots & raincoats. Yuck! How bad is it??? We're going because we have plane tickets.
Also, what exactly is a del in Wisconson? I never learned proper geography....I'd love to hear it from a native. Some kind of land formation, yes?

I have two kids - my daughter is 19 and my son is 12. I also have a step daughter who is 13. I signed up to be a SU demonstrator in January and have been struggling with ideas. I think I may have found the best training tool for me!

So glad you introduced yourself. I'm Joleen. I live in Southern CA. I have been married a little over 2 months! lol :lol: We have no children yet. I am currently a HW and full time student. I am a fashion design major at FIDM in Los Angeles. I've been an SU! demo for 6 months but have always been into anything crafty. I stamp all the time.. either that or I'm here. ;) I think that's about it. Looking forward to reading your posts and seeing your samples!
