Default Different Adhesive for micro beads. Help!!! : )

I know the SU tape and the tape from Penny wise work great for the micro beads, but what do you do when you want to stick the micro beads to just a small part of something you've stamped?? Can you use a liguid glue and put the micro beads on like you would with glitter?? Any advice on this would be much appreciated!!!
Thanks!!!

Here's what I did:

I stamped a flower onto a small square of plain white cardstock. I colored it in with summer sun.

Then I cut a same size small square of sticky tape (I bought the full sheets rathar than the rolls of tape) and peeled one side of the tape and stuck that to the square of flowered cs.

I then cut out the flower. Then I peeled off the other half of the sticky tape and applied my micro beads. It made a beautiful little embellishment!

Have fun.

If you want to apply beads to something that you've already stamped on a card, I do believe that crystal effects would work just fine as a glue.

Hope that helps.

I have a couple of examples in my gallery where I used CE to trace a stamped line and poured the beads over it. It works best after it is allowed to set up for awhile. I did it on the front of a notebook cover, and even knowing that it is something that will be USED as opposed to just mailed and looked at, I have no worried that those beads are falling off!!

I used the full sheets as well. Great for covering vellum tags.

Thank you everyone for the great advice. I have a couple of the full sheets of sticky tape and also crstal effects, so I'll try both! I was really wanting to outline some things with the beads so it sounds like the CE will work good for that!
Kristen, thanks for putting the link to your gallery. Your samples are terrific! I loved the micro beads on the straps of the little flip-flops!
If there's anyone that uses anything else besides CE or has any other ideas about outlining a stamped image with micro beads I'd love to hear.
I'm hoping to get a chance to try out the CE with the beads this afternoon!
Thanks again!

Thanks Sencie, I actually used the sticky tape on those flip flops, but the CE probably would have worked batter come to think of it!! ;)

On my Sketch It notebook, I used mini glue dots to hold the dots of microbeads on! It works great.

Charisma,
Do you have a picture of your sketch it notebook in your gallery? I looked through your gallery, but couldn't fine it. (BTW you make adorable cards! : )
Glue dots sound like a great idea, especially if you wanted a polk-a-dot effect. Hmm... wondering how they'd look with the hot to dot wheel...
I've got to try all this out.
Thanks so much to everyone!
