WOW just looked at my name and I hit 1000 posts... Think you all got me talking to much!! ;) Oh well, I have been here a year and only started posting the last 4 or 5 months so guess that means I can't shut up?? roflmao.... I do enjoy the site though and have lots to say usually.
Ok - gals I'm right up there with ya (almost). I joined in January but was a lurker for a month or so. I was surprised the other day when I noticed that I had hit the 800 mark. Too funny. I guess maybe we all talk to much. Wait until QC sees this thread ~ now she's a talker!! LOL
Yeah I too am guilty of running my mouth or should I say fingers on this board...in just less than three months I have all these posts! YIKES!
Keri ~ I can't believe that you have only been around since June!! It seems like we have "known" you forever. What was life like before Keri. Ughhhh - I can't imagine!!
Mel ~ Love the new avatar! We get used to seeing people look one way then they have another pic and their looks completely change (and I'm not talking about the Robin avatars) - Just every day photos of people. LOL

LOL. When I read this post I thought the same thing. I read everything you all post and I feel like I'm an eavesdropper of the "cool table" in the high school cafeteria.
I need to put my two cents in a bit more, too. Maybe then I can eat at the "popular" table.

I'm with designatnine - I listen a lot more that I post. Seems like when I read all the posts, that you guys seem like you have know each other forever. Then I see your joined dates and realize some of you are almost as new as I am, I joined in July. This is just a great sight with lots of great and friendly people with the same things in common. By nature I talk wayyyyy toooo much. So look out, you may not be able to shut me up.

Oh, I forgot I wanted to mention, I may not post a lot, but apparently I have been spending way too much time here, because it seems I'm running out of posts that I haven't already read. :oops: :lol:
I may not talk often but I talk long.... at least that's what my kids told me. My threat to them when they were little was not a spanking it was a lecture from me!!!!! They'd cringe and say "OH no Mommy let's not have a talk" Ahhhaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaa! The power of words! Oh those were the good days.
Hey Princess Mi thanks for missing my stories - don't worry I've been cookin' a few up here at the mansion for ya.... Holly and Pebbles and I were playing hide and seek this afternoon which made me think of the time I was hiding in Spain from a gang of renegade spaghetti traders. Stay tuned for more of that horrific story my friends.
keri - I'm sooooooooo glad you responded! I saw this topic earlier but was too :oops: to respond cause I have so many post in such a short time - but you have more. :P So now, I don't have to feel so :shock: at myself. Y'all probably won't believe it but I'm generally a quiet person. It's the anonymity of being online that makes it easier for me to talk.
Designatnine (love that)! You can definately sit at our table. We will even get a bigger table if we have to. It is so fun getting to know people on SC. The best friends a gal could ask for. Except for Kar! Oh and Cami. She is not very nice to me after getting back from vacation, is she? I would kick her out of my yard if she hadn't been gone all week long.
I'm with Princess. Once school starts (sept 1) I'll be on more. Especially in the afternoons. YIPPPY! Of course, I still have to find some stamping time!
Good to hear from you Darth. I love playing hide and seek. We were playing that outside the other day. It is so funny. The little boy that I watch, Bennett, follows everyone around and gives up their hiding spot. It is just a hoot to watch. Then when it is his turn to count. . . well lets just say he needs help!

When my kiddies play hide-n-go seek they always hide in the same spot every single time and then get mad when it takes 2 seconds to find them. What a great game.
Things around here pick UP when school starts???? Unfortunately, inservice is Wed. and I only have 2 stamping days left until then! I'm making the most of them!

You guys, I wasn't playing hide and seek with my kids - I was playing hide and seek with Holly and Pebbles my two poodles!!!!!!! Haven't I talked enough about them that you remember their names by now!!! Good Lord, I've taught them to knit, I've taught them to put up drywall, they help me bake----- please girls, at least pretend you're paying attention to me!
Now here's how we play - I tell them to sit. Then I go run and hide and I call their names real quiet like - then they come looking for me - it's really spooky - then when they find me they get all excited and I scream and fall on the floor and they jump on me and kiss me and go wild. We do this over and over again. Ahhh, my days are so full and rich. Okay so I get a little bored sometimes! Enrique isn't as much fun as he used to be.

Oh heavens Darth - I was paying attention. I promise! (Please don't make me write it 100 times). I realized Holly & Pebbles were the poodles. It is just that my Bichon (Rocco) can't play hide and seek so I always have to play with my DD's. You know - you have just been way to quiet lately - maybe you should tell us their antics more often and then there would definately no room for doubt.

Oh my goodness! LANA talked to me! AND!! I can sit at the cool table!
WOW! Wait... if only I could sit... I pinched a nerve in my back last night and the horizontal position seems to be the only one that doesn't have me panting as if I were in labor. It'll be interesting today with a three and a half year old DD and an eleven week old puppy. lol.
Oh -- and about hide and seek -- my daughter does the same thing. She hides in the same spot and as soon as you stop counting she says, "Here I am!" That might keep her busy today -- I'll let her hide and just not stop counting. HA!!
